There's also 40 capitale reward from the pass and it's easy to level up.

Currently I have 42 capitale and I think I'm saving them for the next opportunity mission, if they release any.

Didn't even know you can buy capitale at fence with gold bars before someone mentioned it on the forums. Don't buy capitale with gold bars!

Nope, sorry! I'm buying Capitale to do ruthless on the next 2 if I unfortunately disconnect and lose my 50 capitale I got from the Pass lol

Grinding for gold > Grinding for Capitale

Finished all the blood money crimes and the big opportunity mission as well.  Gonna just wait for the next ones and do em once each. How many are there supposed to be anyway?

No matter how you try to prove it GTAO is not dead, not even close by every possible metric. I'm saying it as a person who has more hours in RDO than GTAO. E&E will only increase sales and GTAO will continue to thrive as long as Rockstar is updating it.

The FiveM thing is partially true only for PC market. There's 100-150k simultaneous players everyday in GTAV/O only on Steam (Not the Source SDK Base 2013 FiveM thing). And what about the console market which doesn't have any real RP community where GTAV/O charts every month in top 3/5. There is nothing like GTAO in the market and it doesn't seem like anything will come anytime soon to challenge it. Also GTAO is infinitely more popular than RDO due to very simple reasons which will always be the case even if RDO improves radically in next 1-2 years.

GTAO is lame and has been for years, and I consider it dead.  If E&E was some substantial improvement, why are they waiting for less than 3 months to show what great upgrades we will get.  Not only that, they will either have to a) allow people to transfer all their glitched money or b) not allow a complete transfer.  Imagine being such a rube that you buy an 8 year old game with the same map or Imagine if people cannot transfer all their money...either way, its going to epic.  FiveM is popular because of Twitch.  Also, FiveM allows players to really unlock the most the potential of the game.  RedM could have built a PC community but instead its get GTAO PC treatment with hackers nonstop and R* not policing their micro transaction cash grab.  PC GTAO is nothing but cheating mod menus crashing your game, stealing your personal information, and generally wrecking your time in game...on xb it is full of 12-15 year olds flying mk2 or 20s burnt out losers smoking their bong in game chat griefing people.  Cant say anything about PS because I have never player it there, but its probably very similar to XB.

The bolded part is totally your opinion which is outweighed by a vast majority of players. You can find it lame, sure; but dead, nah :kekw:

As I told you no matter how you try to prove it GTAO is still a premiere live service title to the point it's getting a newer version after 8 years and it's not even bloody F2P.

You're right, competition drives companies to do better a lot of the time.

Here's hoping Benzies' EVERYWHER3 will be great.

IMO - BH extension was okay. Rockstar just needed to finesse it.

Some additional interaction with the bounty target,  would of been nice. Something like a bribery prompt. Once excepted, a RNG bribe would be given. Gold dust, treasure map, a collectible item, whereabouts of a more valuable target, penny dreadfuls from SP, a cigar or a perfect rat.

agree 100%.
The same can be said about every single role they've released.
We need much more depth.

Trader: introduce supply & demand / regional pricing / bartering / customer demands / special contracts / etc. etc.
Naturalist: introduce research /

... you know what... I'll just stop here. We'll never get any of that stuff

I often feel this way too, but that would mean Capitale was thought up in 2018. All the lines from Sean would have had to been recorded in 2018 or earlier and they already had Capitale in mind????  Hard to believe but I guess it's possible.

Capitale, festering at Rockstar since 2018 and being unleashed on a loyal player base.

Is dead ass diabolical.

After the long wait for new dlc, here's how Blood Money went for me.

Finished outlaw pass in record time.

Played the new missions to get enough capitalé.

Then played Covington Emerald on ruthless. Easy peasy.

Now I wait for Covington Ruby & Diamond, or whatever

they're called, and outlaw pass pt.2.

BM dlc 5/10.

R*, real heists with setups plz.

I hope any further unlocks aren't tied to that ruthless setting, lol.

Hated it. Doing it should be enough rather than be forced to play a way I clearly dislike. Just another reason I can't gel with f*cking game. Stoopid!

You have to gather 15 capital to buy a mission that pays you 0.16 gold.

How is this even a thing?

It should pay more like 25 gold and be a lot harder.

So we got 2 more stones and 3 QDP that is one stone to little!

I wouldn´t give the update five but four due to lack of cloth and re-playability

I just got the crapitale from the pass, there's 65 of 'em in there. And if the other passes have similar, sod looting for it. I've done all the missions and some more than once and only looted 1 bit of that crap. Bloody awful design.

Don't forget grinding out an hour of Blood Money missions just for the privilege of attempting the mission, hope it does not crash and then get pay less than 0.20 Gold and 120 dollars.

Completed all the content that Blood Money has to offer. Eight hours over three days, eight hours for eight months wait. *golf clap*

R* should be f*cking ashamed. All they literally had to do was put expensive items like properties or gilded carriages in the game and let people set their own goals. Why they vehemently refuse to add anything worthwhile for the player to work towards, and yet they think the player will be content with chicken scratching in the dirt, is beyond me.

They already have the framework in Moonshine Shacks, multiple people can share the same shacks because its behind a load screen. Just add Apartments inside the static hotels dotted around the map, have a maid that wanders around your room as the one you buy upgrades from like Maggie in the Moonshine Shack.

What would be a fair price for properties? 5k? 10k?

I think most of the playerbase probably has less than 10k. Especially if they never used the collector map.

If a pamphlet it in the 4 digits now, a property has to be in the 5 digits.
I'd say 5-10k for the low end, 2x 3x or 4x that for the upper end.

Once you have collector, trader and moonshiner unlocked, you can make that kind of money pretty quickly.

I don't see five grand being a bad price for a property. I know it seems expensive at first glance, but we pay a hundred and fifty dollars for a coat, logic has gone out the damn window.

That's the point, the majority of players don't have millions. There are still a lot of players who want goals to strive towards.

Well, we see in these forums that there are players who are content with this stuff and that's fine if they are. I would guess that most long time players are not though but R* has shown time and time again they aren't concerned with longevity in the player pool.

Or if they didn't squander their money on cosmetics. That's how I built my money. I only spend on necessary stuff that I can actually make use of. I don't have a stable full of horses since I can only ride one at a time. I do have one extra one to replace my primary one temporarily in case it dies. Buying stuff like clothes, etc, even though it looks like a small amount individually, adds up.

I made a lot of money doing bounties with my friend on PC. On PS for the year before PC release and before the collector role came out, I accumulated over $250,000 just doing stranger missions.

PS: I am not knocking anyone who likes to buy cosmetic stuff. My friend spends almost as much time buying clothes as we do running bounties.

Some of those coats at Gus are close to $1000 aren't they?
