Simple....The GTA community is miles better more mature and less toxic than the red dead community, they actually support their respective game and reaping the benefits of it after all these years , the RDO community has given the game a bad reputation on the internet which has probably slowed down a lot of new players coming into the game why should Rockstar continue to invest any type of big attention to the game when the community will never be satisfied??? I have the upmost respect for the GTA for supporting their game with pure class good and down times like it or not lol

Huh? Red Dead Redemption multiplayer (2010) wasn’t immature or toxic during those years. As for Red Dead Online a majority of us aren’t killed on sight as apparent in GTA Online.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion and real constructive criticism (not the crap I see on this sit and others) but let’s be honest  the overall atmosphere between the community and rockstar is beyond repair and both sides are at fault , hell at this point it’s just a matter of time until rockstar shuts the servers down

I can respect that but as far as shutting the severs down I highly, highly doubt that. RDO may not be popular but I’d say shutting servers down is a bit much.

 

However, I’ll die on this hill alone but in all honestly I prefer RDR OG Multiplayer over RDO.

 

I do agree how a majority of people feel about this update. It’s a snoozefest let’s be real. Nothing really new or exciting.

Bruh 8-years game that is filled with content and is getting remaster soon will have bigger update than 3-years game which lacks enjoyable content and is bugged. But some folk are still saying that GTAO and RDO are treated evenly...

Multiply the pelt material value x 3.125, and tell them that's how much you lost in RDO$ - that's how much Cripps turns it into for a long distance delivery.

Enjoy flying bike game online.  That game is dead...its full of children and brain dead griefers.

All the normal people are playing in solo lobbies or have left.  Just because R* keeps beating a dead horse, doesnt mean it will continue to be a success.  The new update is as cringe as ever.  We will see how their E&E "new game" will work.  Why has R* not even shown how it looks?  Part of the reason for its prolonged success is that R* was unable to prevent FIVEm which they prevented in Red Dead (talk about small brained business decisions.)  People complaining about either game has zero to do with update quality or content.  R* update size and quailty is based on who buys the most microtransactions. And the GTAO community, they love their shark cards.  Draw your own conclusions about its community based off this.    The most idiotic and absolute childishly winey complaints are about GTAO despite it being a game that should be shelved in 2018.

The lack of Benz isn't an issue for RDO. The lack of people working on is. Rockstar doesn't think investing more on it is necessary.

Rockstar could literally copy everything they did with GTAO in RDO like adding properties, vehicles, actual heists but that requires both more manpower and money which they just doesn't want to spare.

You are forgetting one thing and that is the fact that a percentage of gtao players just come to rdo just to grief and are asking for stuff that belongs in gtao and not belong in a niche like rdo, the rdr1 multiplayer was a really goid community for many years but actually got screwed over by R* because they made this game actually a gta on horses, role players are kinda left out as wel cause its a somewhat forced pvp open world, also no invite only lobbys for rdo but gtao and rdr1 multiplayer even got that feature, many rdo players are asking for that from day 1, im convinced that they would sell much more gold bars if they embraced the role players more with things a lot of players asked for for a very long time now, if they really would listen im sure sales would go up and the player base would expand significantly.

No matter how you try to prove it GTAO is not dead, not even close by every possible metric. I'm saying it as a person who has more hours in RDO than GTAO. E&E will only increase sales and GTAO will continue to thrive as long as Rockstar is updating it.

 

The FiveM thing is partially true only for PC market. There's 100-150k simultaneous players everyday in GTAV/O only on Steam (Not the Source SDK Base 2013 FiveM thing). And what about the console market which doesn't have any real RP community where GTAV/O charts every month in top 3/5. There is nothing like GTAO in the market and it doesn't seem like anything will come anytime soon to challenge it. Also GTAO is infinitely more popular than RDO due to very simple reasons which will always be the case even if RDO improves radically in next 1-2 years.

RDR2 should not have had and online component. It's a complete waste of time. The focus should have been a remastering of RDR in the RDR2 engine, and then release two expansions that can covers both games timelines.

 

The Red Dead community is more solo oriented, they lost the plot when deciding to abandon single player content. The world they created is fantastic and deserves much more attention than creating half baked online concepts.

IMO - BH extension was okay. Rockstar just needed to finesse it.

Some additional interaction with the bounty target,  would of been nice. Something like a bribery prompt. Once excepted, a RNG bribe would be given. Gold dust, treasure map, a collectible item, whereabouts of a more valuable target, penny dreadfuls from SP, a cigar or a perfect rat.

Normally I would have ripped this person a new one, but the new update has upset me too much to the point where I can't indulge in this anymore.
