Pretty sure that revolver is already in game. I'll reserve judgement till tomorrow's trailer, but at a glance of the screenshot they chose, it sure seems like this dlc may be light on cosmetics....

Don't know if this is relevant but for anyone who plays the table top game Western Legends, their update which is about to ship is also called Blood Money, doubt there's a connection but, well a red dead tabletop game... I'd buy that forra dollah.

There needs to be some character progression. The idea that my character, who would be a multimillionaire by today’s standards, being an errand boy for another NPC that I could own isn’t going to cut it unless progression comes along with it.

Exactly. No point pissing your pants in excitement. Teasing a trailer released twenty-four hours later reeks of underhandedness to me. It would have done nothing bad to them to release the trailer today, they are just milking it for trailer views.

Moving out of the camp. For trader, opening a store. Basically, all of the progression R* talked about 3 years ago that hasn’t come to pass. I’m not a grunt for someone else anymore.

The trailers are just cut scenes that will be in the game. They don’t tell you a thing about how everything else is implemented. So, yeah, letting a trailer work oneself into a frenzy will most likely lead to disappointment. Let’s just wait and see what it is like when it’s released.

I'm excited for this update as well. I merely said to temper your expectations given Rockstar's track record.

 

 

On a completely unrelated note, Electro Vox Studios has temporarily shut down. It looks like WJ is relocating to a different studio in Arizona. (For those who care).
