LT Postman Glitch

So this seems to be a common occurrence according to Reddit, but no solid answers on how to fix it. When I try to interact with anyone/my horse, the game registers that I’m pressing LT, but nothing happens. Nothing pops up/reacts.

I’ve tried restarting the game, the console, updating my controller, signing out and in again, hitching my horse, making sure my weapons are holstered, etc. etc. but nothing is working.

 

Help?
