(Description of the theme)

Create a mission related to the Escape Plan (for example); you can make a mission escaping from jail, from cops, gangs, getting away from soneone with your own vehicle, etc.

Damn, for the next one i would suggest for next MOTW winner to do Myth Hunting releated thread. When there will be any entries, i'll try to record them asap!

You're not the only one - or guessing people are busy making missions rn so they don't post it but still it's strange that probably he will need to extend the deadline again.

Are you thinking about cancelling this time's MOTW? Good idea would be, if you would advertise on DYOM Official Website on people's missions to paricipate in future MOTW's - with that we ain't going anywhere.

What a f*cking masterpiece mission. Loved the idea of escaping the prison, custom objects are amazing - premiere on YouTube coming TODAY if video renders.

But in all seriousness, DYOM site, subforum, and MOTW, need a huge reform. Just look at the DYOM site: Missions from 2010 are still pinned, and there is no way of informing new designers that MOTW is up and running, because, for damns sake, "awards" are still pinned...

 

DYOM needs changing, really.

DYOM needs changing, really.

 

You know what's weird? That gtainside is just a modding site.. for literally everything - cleo mods, buildings, cars, maps - DYOM missions there get ALOT of downloads (atleast 1k downloads if mission is good + has good images) and the people are absolutely loving it. What about dyom website? No downloads for good missions, some international turkish or hungarian people making missions in their own language (which btw. they check when they upload that mission is English so idk why) - for me trailers are bugged (checked it). It's sad to see that ex. Seygull entry for MOTW #190 has only 3 downloads and it's been 24 hours and nobody is interested, because site is full of (and i'm not racist here) Arabs, Turkish people and kids that have broken grammar to that point, that u don't even understand the mission plot.

 

We should invite people from other modding sites (such as that GTAinside) to paricipate in MOTW's somehow, or mobilize DYOM Discord (because i think there's alot of people) to compete. I'm really, really sad to see that people now (because i played some of missions that creators uploaded recently on DYOM) can't even put cutscenes & they put only objectives and sometimes they don't even bother editing it (just check my single mission channel videos, and rate missions because that would be cool if some good DYOM designer would rate them aswell) (and i got dislike-shamed by some angry people because i gave them a honest review, that their mission is bad and they need to improve)

 

I would like to suggest things, if somebody is willing to do:

 

1. Make new / re-wamp DYOM website - so it will look better, etc

2. Invite new people from other places (such as modding sites - i can get some Russian friends from multiplayer to tune in maybe)

3. Update some moderators - make new ones, and update "pinned missions"

4. I would also suggest (ik that would be kind of rough and not everybody would support that idea) that if you upload a mission on the website, moderators will check the mission if mission isn't provocative (mission to piss people off with 1 checkpoint, 1 objective or no cutscenes at all, or no concept) - and then accept it and also if somebody would check that "Mission is english" but it's not then mod would change that to correct category.

5. Recently i saw some popular Polish youtuber (60k, 70k subs maybe) did a DYOM livestream, so this maybe will bring some people to the website, althrough he played one storyline and one mission from the fan so he's doing that occasionally. We can also try with the comments on YouTube, inviting some people to play DYOM and to compete just for fun (if we could get somebody real popular then it would be very cool)

 

That's all i want to say. Idk about you guys, but i'm gonna only say: DYOM quality content, and importantly MOTW is sadly dying, or don't have enough active players
