tjbpl
FIXED!! Game not loading at all?? No error message? If this is happening to you, like it has happened to me, then just follow the steps I give below and it should fix it. Everytime I write in for help, they ask for my dxdiag, so I thought I'd take a look at what is in there myself. At this point I thought it had something to do with my sound card. Then I noticed hardware acceleration was disabled, I turn it back on and...it worked! It brought a tear of joy to my eye. Here is how to do it... Go to Start>>Run...>>type "dxdiag" in box without quotes>>Display tab>>Direct 3D acceleration. If that is disabled, its most likely your problem, enable it, and run the test to be sure. Exit, and enjoy Vice City Well, Im off to play Vice City, I've waited long enough! Good luck! and if that doesnt work, leave a post, I might have another solution. tj
CapeCodKid
Well, my "display" tab has all of my Direct 3D Accelerations, etc on and enabled. And my game still does not run. I can view the introduction movie but get hung-up at the 2-D screen that looks like the cover of the box (with the Miles logo in the top right). Anyone else have any ideas?
