Just started playing again today, and i just found out that, it seems the base players of the early GTAO had moved on, because the majority of players that i have found in Contact Missions aren't that bright tbh

Some of them only capable doing the missions using weaponized meme vehicles, others are just following me waiting for my next move, i mean, where are the exciting world of possibilities?

For instance, instead of barging in to the police stations in Under The Hammer (repo missions) you can climb on the sidewall, or one players using buzzard while the other three stealing the cars rappeling from the chopper, good idea right?

In Rooftop Rumble, it is safer if you approach them on the bridge next to the police station, take a cover and blast them from behind, same thing with the swinger that is guarded by the FIB in GTA Today II, take a cover on the bridge walls, shot them one by one, get the car, call lester to remove that wanted level, simple right?

That's why i made this thread, if anyone else has their own creative method in a particular missions, maybe you can share it here

So we can get rid of those sexpressor, deluxsh*t or clamjet users, in a contact missions, using meme vehicles, so they can brag themselves how mighty they are, taking away the joy, excitment and actions in contact missions

I mean, if you want to do some jobs quickly and earn some cash, why don't you do some VIP work or Terrorbyte Jobs right? Or perhaps a Megalomania? Super Power syndrome? Better call your shrink pal..

Spoiler

Throwwwoooo your arms around meeeeeeehhhhh 😂

Look closely at that brickade's health bar, yup, dats me mayte, blast it cause some guy are using sexpressor 😂

I suppose during import/export you can source and sell vehicles using a Cargobob.

When sourcing, using a Cargobob will reduce damage to the car as the 'attackers' are programmed to shoot the player. So most shots fired will be aimed at the Cargobob and not hit the car.

Again, when selling use the Cargobob. I only sell in solo sessions and 'attackers' are again programmed to spawn when in a solo session when you get a certain distance away from the warehouse. If you use a Cargobob and fly high enough, the attackers won't ever spawn and this will allow you to sell the vehicle for the full payout.

When selling multiple cars, tell crew members to stay at the warehouse, and go back for that car once the first has been delivered, the 15 minute time is more than enough time for multiple journey's. Again attackers are only programmed to spawn when the vehicle is a certain distance from the warehouse.

Most of the playerbase are now 12.

To be fair to them, are they doing anything for fun that you wouldn't have done at 12?

Were you complex-adult-game proficient at 12?

I was playing with a guy and his kid a while back, and dad was trying over and over to teach junior smart ways to do things and get him into missions and heists and building up some assets.

The kid just wanted to shoot police helicopters out the sky with the flying dog.

It's an 18 game, but now it's a kid's game. Just gotta deal with that. I do it by ignoring all of them, doing business and collecting nice things, racing, heisting, creating tracks and just enjoying GTAO as my own personal little playground. Other players are just incidental to me. Things I see now and then, like thunderstorms.

And, like thunderstorms, when they go away, everywhere looks brighter. I get all sociable again at DLC time as that is in my best interests as much as their's.

They are not all bad though. I've played with loads of teenagers on here and mostly they have been very polite, respectful of my age and experience and great heist partners. Randoms are never going to just turn up and be great every time. But if you treat them as equals and don't patronize them, generously give them heist money and help them get the cool stuff they want, you've got loyalty for GTA life and help anytime you need it.

I've found the more you mic-up and be friendly and helpful, the more they will want to play with you. Too many older people don't mic-up. For example a mate in Tennessee went though a bad spell with his family and the virus, couldnt get his Xbox Live renewed. That was months ago.

Got a message from him yesterday, he's back on and the first thing he did was remember me and message me because I'm a good GTAO partner for him at lvl 1938 to his 100 and something. Just gotta sort the wheat from the chaff, like anywhere else you go in life.

Well that explains, why these days there are barely a good players, 😂

But, yeah, you're right i'm afraid, i remember, when i was 12, i was really sucked when doing the RC Copter Bomb missions in VC, but, eventually i managed to finished after some 55 tries (or more) 😂

About that headset mic, i don't have any, so, lots of times i just message them through PS app, some of them are getting good, others are just hopeless, like Stanley in "No Hay Bronca" 🤪

Another tips is just to take a cover behind the wall or something, and snacking, the biggest perks in GTAO is snacking imo, you can't do that offline

Also, Stanley can operate the weapons in every weaponized vehicle if you bring him in, in No Hay Bronca mission, such a good mechanics tbh, why can't we use some NPC to source cargo too R*?

When I want efficiency I do business stuff or heists with friends. If I want chaos and frustration, I play OG heists with randoms.

Contact missions I only play for fun... old school with none of the crazy stuff that has been added since 2017. Although to be fair the last time I played The Los Santos Connection, I used the Chernobog. But the Jester Racecar for example is still great in 2021.

I play Contact Missions on hard as "Hobo with a Shotgun", i.e. dress the character as scruffily as I can, with a clapped out Issi, and complete them armed only with the sawn-off shotgun. Does that count?

awesomefoot

When doing the Repo mission with Firetrucks, noobs don't know there's a fire station closer to Simeon's. It's on Macdonald Street by the Ballas turf. There's always a firetruck there and sometimes two. They drive out to the other one and then I'm sitting and waiting for them near but not in the docks since if I go in it'll start the timer.

RCV counts as a firetruck too IIRC, or just dial 911.

Is a Saturday Night Special not within the hobo budget? Or is that your long-range weapon?
