Honor isn't really raising

So on rdr2 online I've been trying to fish and let them go and raise my honor, hasn't budged, I've helped the random white dots on the map but no budge, I've donated many times no budge, I've done alot of story and side missions and some give me honor but not much. The only thing seeming to give me honor at the moment is properly taking care of my horse... I accidentally shot a citizen on a stranger mission so it brought me really low and I've gotten it back up thr middle between dishonor and honor but it's going so slow. Any tips?

You hit the nail on the head! 

 

That is it. Also, fishing doesn't raise honor; I mean, I've fished a lot and never noticed it raise honor ever. Does it say that somewhere,

as far as letting them go? You get a honor icon thingie, on the right of the screen, with the "good guy" raising honor icon when honor is

raising, with a + by it (like when you brush the horse.)

 

I'm always at max honor, even if I kill six bounties and it goes about 1/4 of the way down. This is because I do some things:

 

1. Log on, make camp stew and feed myself and such. Feed horse with his food a couple times, brush horse, pat horse.

 

2. We've completed a resupply, bounty, mission, whatever, feed horse once or twice and brush horse.

 

3. I notice the horse cores are starting to show the black dots/some black meaning its not totally full, feed horse twice, brush horse.

 

4. do a moonshine or trader run, which is not even using the horse, when back on the horse feed horse once and brush horse.

 

5. Stupid Horse runs into a rock/tree and health goes down, which the horse REALLY seems to like to do, give a potent horse healer

and feed him once and.... BRUSH HORSE!

 

6. It switches sessions, so I lose MY buffs, assume horse is the same feed horse twice and brush horse.

 

At least once a session I also go to the stable and get the "Tack and Services" $7.00 thing to give the horse gold cores, that also

gets the + honor icon.

 

You can also just go to that guy on the map, who is often kind of under an awning and at a table, to change your honor in either direction

(max good or bad.) You might even have coupons for it, as I do ("free honor change." )

Last time I used him, a year ago, it only changed your honor part way toward whichever side you wanted. It didn't max me out. I take it they changed that.
