Wall breach now the next common thing?!

I stood away from GTA online for months now and assumed, falsely assumed I missed something. 

 

Came back, did a few ceo missions and challenges. 

Got 40 + million gta $ with nothing to spend it on. 

 

 

Now what really is omnipresent now:

Wall breachers shooting you from afar thru buildings and it's definitely not the mk2 wall penetrating bullet. 

 

Seems modders / hackers now a common thing on psn. 

Thought that was not possible. 

Now R* letting this one go to waste like ps3 gta V online? 

 

Okay, I don't need a more obvious hint that I ain't welcome no more

There are no modders on PS4.

It's just thermal scopes/helmets letting you do that.

Been around for a long time now.

 

I'd be more worried about godmode.

Only wall breach that bothers me is the one they fixed at Lombank. It was my favourite office for a long time until I started dying and spawning in the alley round the back just for trying to park outside the door. Off to Maze Bank again ater that.

This isn't a wall breach (which commonly refers to going inside of buildings or other bits of the map through holes in the collision), and it's not modding either. This game has always had an issue where collision doesn't render at a far enough distance. So they wear a thermal helmet and use the heavy sniper on you from a sufficient distance that they can shoot right through buildings. In other words, it's a bug or an exploit.

 

It's very annoying when it happens, but in my experience is not as prevalent a problem as god mode--probably because sniping takes some actual skill to do.

Just, just use invite only, and play deathmatch if you're looking for a competition, freemode PvP? Meh, full of Op MKII and Saints Row bullshxt, and there's glitches like this

Godmode glitches have always been around, lol.

Glitches like that have been around for a loooong looooooong time.

There are no modders on PS4/XboxOne right now, at least not online.

As already stated, that is a glitch, not a mod. All platforms of this game are infested with glitches and exploits that do not require modding tools to do.

Now? Wall breaching has always been a pretty common thing. 
 

Really should be a thread around here that explains all of the common glitches that one can encounter in this game. This old ass, broken PS3 game is full of them. 
 

No modders on last gen but I expect that to change soon enough. One they stop updating the game and the consoles reach the point of their makers phasing them out they will be hacked.
