When i open the gta vice city is shows error (see photo)

here pc specs (from speccy program)

Processor-i3 4000m ( Haswell 22nm technology)

ram-8gb dual channel ddr3 @ 798mhz

mother board-clevo w550su1 (sockket 0)

graphic-Generic pnp monitor ( 1366x768@59hz)  Intel hd graphic 4600 (Clevo/kapok computer)

Audio-realtek high definition audio

Do you get this with any other application? I suspect it might be your Windows acting up rather than the game.

gta 3 used to do this, but it stopped when i used 1.1 exe for gta 3

That's rather strange. Where did you get the game from? If it's the steam version you might want to verify the game files by right clicking the game in steam and going into the properties menu.

i installed from an iso i made of a cd i bought in 2003 or 2004

Huh, well I have no clue then. The only thing I can come up with is that maybe a file is missing or might be corrupted. Unfortunately I am really out of ideas here.

If you come from Google and this happens to you, this is occurring because you enabled Mandatory ASLR on Windows Exploit Protection. Additionally, if you don't use SilentPatch, you also need to disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP) or you will get a crash on startup.

 

You don't have to disable these settings system-wide, and it's best to keep enabled for security reasons. You can disable them only for GTA in the "Program settings" tab of Exploit Protection by adding an exception by program name: "gta-vc.exe".
