Does R* Launcher pick up non-Launcher installs of San Andreas?

I have a v1.0 copy of San Andreas for PC and I would like to install it for modding. However, I also have the R* Launcher installed for GTA V and I don't want it to pick up on the SA install as I'm afraid it might detect the mods and affect my GTAO in some way.
