The MOC cab is a great defensive way to get around without being blown up constantly by Oppressor Mk2 trolls.  Both models have enough armour to tank direct hits from 60 of the oppressor missiles (and the max one can carry is 20)

I prefere Phantom even if less agile than Hauler, I like Hauler but...throwing stickies and proxy under bridges and narrow places is really useful, even between two skycrappers(urban center).

Fun fact:

The german name of this vip job is:

"Bis An Die Zähne"(Armed to the teeth)

So the ruiner from this mission is called "bad z ruiner" in germany ( first letters of every word from the vip job name)

Never heard about that, is there are German GTA Community?

That's not true; the Nightshark and Insurgent Pick-Up Custom with 100% armor have the same missile resistance as the Half-Track -- 27 to blow up.

My experience with these cars has been inconsistent, sometimes I can get blown up after just 8 missiles, some other times the cars can tank all the missiles.

This is why I included the possibility of these cars not being able to handle all the missiles, I suspect the infamous armor bug also affects them.

The normal Insurgent has 60% armor by default but it can be modified through a glitch, which makes it just as armored and even allows passive mode.

Since it can't be acquired through legit means, it means most players don't have access to it, so I also ignored this possibility.

My Nightshark has never blown up in 8 missiles. I searched for Nighshark armor bug and came up empty (except for people complaining about the window plates). I never encountered the armor bug with my Insurgent and Insurgent Pick-Up Custom either but I sold them quite a while ago. So I think it's simply wrong to say they blow up in fewer missiles than the Oppressor Mk II carries unlike the Half-Track. I mean, they and the Half-Track all blow up in 7 missiles when unoccupied and with 0% armor, which is because they all have the same armor that is affected by occupancy and the armor % value. The normal Insurgent is locked to 60% armor without using glitches, but that still takes 22 missiles to blow up when occupied. So I don't know why we're arguing over what is factually incorrect information. It's nothing personal; the info you gave apart from that is great.

Were those 8 missiles RPGs or homing missiles?

RPGs do 3x damage of homing missiles, so you can destroy a Nightshark with 9 RPGs, while it takes 27 homing missiles to destroy it.

Just wanted to add that If you have a good gunner you can effectively fight MKII with Insurgent custom pick up and with Hunter. Fighting MKII with Hunter is a bit tricky, you should be above MKII and engage it on maximum distance, gunner won't have much time and has to be decent shot. Flares and armor will help to survive maybe 4 MKII missiles. It's easier with Insurgent since MKII runs out missiles before Insurgent blows up. .50 cal works quite good against MKII if gunner shots straight : ) Avenger with gunner(s) might work too, but it's harder to shoot Avenger guns with the same precision as Hunter explosive canon. My favorite way for killing MKII is a Night Club sale mission. If you got under 90 crates you get Speedo Custom. Fully upgraded it has mounted gun and mines. During sale mission Speedo Custom cannot be locked by a missiles and can take a a few MKII missiles. When you keep driving it makes very hard to MKII to hit you, and you can shot MKII with roof mounted gun quite easily. Often MKII lands and trying to fire missiles from the road, mines works very good in this case : )

a fully upgraded nightshark can tank a full load of opmk2 missiles (just don't add armor to the windows because it keeps you from using other weapons other then the built in mini guns which don't do much damage).

also a fully upgraded moc can take a lot of damage from a opmk2.

Getting one of your own isn't a counter, it's just leveling the playing field. And in turn, someone will buy one because you got one. It never ends.

As a counter, I suggest the Nightshark or the Toreador. They both have no special radar icon.

Toreador can go under water, and it can take 2 missiles before being destroyed, Nightshark can take more missiles than the flying death machine has in stock.

If you are in a normal vehicle, get out, so they can't lock missiles on you and they have to free-aim them. Half of those people don't know how to do that and will give up.

I didn't knew that get out of the car trick, it might be useful for the next encounter, but i used to lure them to the parking lot and just wait for them to come, usually they're dead from a blow of an Assault Shotgun LOL

anyone tried thermal Valkyrie from office?? you get legit thermal helmet for your gunner without any glitch(so its very fast to enable after exiting via the roof).

Ideally for Maze Bank owners when the broomstick is closer to ground(you spawn much higher than it)

I usually jump out of any vehicle to take away their auto-aim(missile lock-on). Then I use Heavy Sniper MK2 with Explosive Rounds on distance, and then I throw Stickie Bombs when it passes and if I miss I quickly change to Machine Gun to finish him. As long as you move they don't hit you. They also stand still in the air with the space-bike a lot more when they have to free aim.

The ex-sniper is my go-to weapon with them as well. Hitting them in flight at distance by aiming off slightly to the front of them is the funniest thing ever. When they come in close, I switch to the heavy MkII machine gun with the blue ammo, which seems to take them off the thing.

Must enroll sniper school, cause I suck at it. Even against players on foot, let alone fast flying turds.

The hangar mission where you have to fight Lazers is a good way to practice. Find a good place to hide, pop BST and then try to snipe the pilots.

A Nightshark (without the armored windows) and a little practice chucking some sticky bombs and you’re in business. Very satisfying blowing those little gnats out of the sky when they think they are untouchable. 😏 Not to mention some very funny ragdoll animations as their body flies off the bike and hurdles towards the ground  🤣
