Broken light glitch

Whenever I start up Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, I have this weird glitch where everything has a bright tone to it which obscures almost any detail, this happened after my dad updated my OS (Windows 10) it's the 1.1 version for anyone wondering, I would provide screenshots, but anytime I try to take one the game dims to normal lighting again.

Pretty hard to tell what you mean without a screenshot but could it be the resolution you are using in the game? Does it end in '16'? If so then change it to one that ends in '32'

The resolution I use does indeed end in a 32, but what I mean with the brightness is that most things are visually obscured by white light.

Ah. I have no clue then. There are a few things you can always try, you never know what helps you. You could try running the game on XP SP2 or SP3 compatbility. You could also try installing Silent Patch. Unfortunately I have never heard of this issue before so I really don't have a clue.
