spinnie Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 I've used the maps on http://www.all-vice-city.fr.st/ to complete the rampages and hidden packages. After 2 days of looking around I now have all the rampages completed and 99 out of 100 packages. The problem is I can't find the last packages for the life of me. Been looking around for 1.5 days now, checked every point on the map 3 times. My question, could it be that one of the packages has been moved in the PC version ? (Just to verify, I allready noticed a few things different between ps2 and pc when it comes to gameplay) Any help would be welcome... For now I've given up on finding it, but it would really suck once 99% is reached and all I'll be needing would be that one package Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Vito Cipriani Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 I had the same problem in GTA3... back then it appeared to be caused from using certain cheats (i believe it was the Tank cheat which did it...) it also swallowed some rampages from the map... There is one that you might have overlooked and that is in the Police Station. Also checking out that map (and those people that did that - that is excellent anyway) any way, between No's 93 and 94 there is a Jet sticking out of its hanger - you should find a package under there. That was my 100th. I do have one problem with all this though, from what i had read, it says you will get the Hunter spawned at Ocean View Hideout, but when i got the 100th package all it said was that it would be available from the barracks. Do I have to wait until a certain mission before it spawns there or won't it spawn there at all? On a side note bytheway, staying on the topic of packages. I bought the Hyman Condo before I started collecting the packages, and I just noticed that I have all the bonusses available on the top of the building. Seems they fixed that bug in the PC version. I had a helluva time finding my last one too, I thought I picked it up at the golf course early on in my game, but I didn't so I had to go back through my whole guide to and make sure I grabbed everyone and sure enough that damn package by the driving range was the one I was missing...lol. Because be now, I've lost all track of even the slightest proximity where to look... if you catch me drift... With the new trainer that comes with teleporter function, anybody willing to check/list all the coordinates for them, so this could atleast be done in a way that keeps a person from going insane ? There are two similar exits, one from the left and one from the right. Now, I have a bigger problem, I have all the packages, jumps, rampages and side missions, not to mention the storyline missions, and my game says I've completed on 99%. No, when you beat the last mission the hunter will spawn at the base and when you get 100 packages it will spawn at the pad. Watashi Posted May 25, 2003 Share Posted May 25, 2003 I'm using a PC and I got 100/100 packages following the map at gamefaqs.com PLUS a 100% completion guide. I printed out the map and went through the guide by package numbers. When I had found the package, I ticked it on the printed map. If you are not 100% sure whether you have found a certain package or not, looking for it can be a b*tch job. Just read the package directions in a couple of faq files, maybe it helps.. My problem with that level was the fact that when the other drivers crashed, they would almost always aim for me when they were recovering. A couple times just as I was lapping a few who had spun out they steered into me and caused me to fail. Also I noticed that when one of them dies a new car comes out to replace them. I tried the old hop out and blow them all to hell routine and figured that out. Took about 5-10 times to get 1st. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

After going nuts, I started a new game and went looking for them right away. I ended up at Phil's and didn't find anything. Turns out I was looking wrong at that point every single time, it was in a different shed.
