EFLC Vehicle Addon Pack For GTA IV (With Proper Audio and Naming)

This mod adds all of the vehicles from Episodes From Liberty City into the base Grand Theft Auto: IV game, with most importantly: proper audio and naming. Vehicles like the Hexer and the Hakuchou now have their correct TLAD audio in GTA IV. This mod also supports TLAD and TBoGT, so both DLCs can be run with this mod installed with no issues. The correct text has also been created for each added EFLC vehicle, so when you enter something like a bati in the base GTA IV game, it will correctly display "Bati 801". A few storyline fixes are included in this mod, mostly correcting the consistency issues the game has by modifying SCO scripts and cutscene files.

Good job bro, it is wonderful!!!😁

Though I found some bugs when in my gta IV game.

1. A few name of vehicles cannot be showed in game, such as Lycan.

2. When changing the radio on vehicles, game crash imedidately. 

3. A few vehicles don't have its sound like engines and doors sounds.

4. Buzzard don't have correct sound when shooting rockets.

My game is version 1.0.7.0 btw.

Thats odd though, I've never experienced any of those issues (Except for the buzzard thing) 
do you have the Zolika Patch installed? 

also do you have GTA IV with TLAD and TBoGT as included DLCs? standalone IV doesn't work with this mod sadly, as the DLCs are required to load in the audio properly.

Minor Update V1.2:
-The optional "Fixed Infernus Anim" has been (ironically) fixed, due to there being an issue with the Infernus lacking the ability to have drivebys performed in

-TBoGT boats now have proper "navmesh.img" boarding entities (meaning that the player can just press F near the TBoGT boats, and the player will automatically go to the seat)

Whenever I install it I can't go bowling, play pool, play darts, can't go on the internet, and can't watch TV on my main save. I'm on patch 8, steam copy, this also happens with Vanilla Addon Vehicle Pack.

Great job bro, i've been wanting this kind of mod for IV

 

 

i have a question:

- do i need to use IV + EFLC as DLC, or Downgraded steam version for this game?

- and if so, could you maybe provide a link to downgrade the game?

- in your optional files and trilogy charfix there are the same file, like .sco and .cut files. 

wouldn't that makes the game crash?

 

edit: 

i've downgraded my game to 1.0.7.0 with zolika patch and zolika trainer.

i've notice the same bugs like @SycZ, like:

- A few name of vehicles cannot be showed in game, such as Lycan.

- buzzard and apc doesn't have correct sounds when shooting. 

- there's no explosion/fire effects when shooting buzzard missiles.

- TBOGT car lights is broken, you can fix it with vehicles.img from fusion fix.

- EFLC vehicle doesn't spawn in the map, only if i use them, something to do with popcycle or cargrp mybe.

-EFLC bike doesn't have paying toll animation, so it's hilarious to see niko using car anim in bike

this is a fantastic mod!

 

i noticed only two bugs with this mod though

 

1. APC has low health just like any normal car, and gets destroyed easily

2. you cannot swing your bat when using a TBOGT bike in a TLAD race, such as the vader, or faggio2

 

still, this is a must have. especially for those with a fresh install of IV

Have you tried starting a new game? Large mods like this can "corrupt" your savegames (as in the world will have a spasm)
Be sure you have Zpatch installed as well.

There are some optional files that the trilogy fix uses too, since I edited the trilogy fix's fixes if that makes sense lmao. 

1. The lycan issue either has to do with save "corruption" or something else. I never seem to have these issues sadly.
2/3. The buzzard/apc thing is kinda out of my reach right now, as TBoGT uses a different explosion id than IV, which allows the firing sound to work properly in TBoGT only. 

4. As for the broken lights on the TBoGT models, I'm aware that FusionFix corrects this minor issue, its just that I currently don't have permission from the FusionFix guys to use their models. So until then, the uranus, rancher, and tbogt vehicles will stay broken without installing the FusionFix stuff.

5. I'm not too sure whats causing the lack of natural vehicle spawns, but I have a hunch it has something to do with popcycle.dat and pedgrp.dat. TBoGT and TLAD respectively add new peds, and since IV doesn't have them, that MAY be causing the lack of episodic vehicles. I really have no clue though.

6. Thats a new one, I just noticed bikes like the angel use the incorrect anims here. Odd. I'll look into it when I can.

1. Odd, for me the APC still takes 4 rpgs to destroy it. I think I'm going to freshly downgrade a new game with no mods installed other than this one, and see if I can experience some of these reported issues haha.
2. That's really really weird. I've just noticed this thanks to you, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the toll both anim issue is related to this too.

and i was wrong about the apc, the apc it's already weak before using your mod, yea about 4 rpgs

would you also changing Evan's limo into Stretch E one from TBOGT?

spawn Johnny's hexer outside Elizabeta's apartement in Blow Your Cover

and maybe adding Yusuf's golden buzzard in Museum Piece and Collector's Item?

The missing Lycan name can be fixed by adding "LYCAN = Lycan" to your american.gxt. To edit this file you have to export it to open format with OpenIV, then edit the .oxt file with a notepad (add "LYCAN = Lycan" somewhere), then reimport the .oxt file with OpenIV so it's .gxt again. That worked for me. Apparently @7urbo1ag forgot to add that line to the .gxt, which can happen of course.

 

As I play the game in german, there were no vehicle names at all for me, since only american.gxt was edited, which makes sense for most people I guess. Anyway I added all the missing names to the german.gxt (including the lycan), you can use my file to provide it with your mod, if you wish:

Also I noticed a bug, that EFLC radio stations have a white box and only play static sound, what can be done about that? Game doesn't crash though. Copied all the files from the install folder. Looks like this:

i've had that problem, but not on this mod

something to do with radio hud wtds file in GTAIV>pc>textures

or radiohud.dat in GTAIV>common>data

 

also, are you sure you have zpatch installed?, you know that zpatch needs downgraded GTA IV

 

btw i have this mod installed with Trilogy Character Fixes and The Complete Liberty, and it works on IV, crash on TBOGT, not sure on TLAD

@adam9797 As you were able to do this mod I think you can do it! :) If not, I will happily do it for you!

 

Yes, my game is downgraded to 1.0.7.0 and zpatch is installed and working. Do I have to enable a special function in zpatch.ini? I have Trilogy Fixes installed as well and before installing this mod the radio worked fine. Will check your assumptions out but iirc this mod doesn't even change anything from the HUD. I don't remember if I used old or new radio downgrader, will try both again and see if that changes anything.

 

Edit: So, I tried this:

Fresh 1.0.7.0 downgrade with OLD Radio downgrader -> no white boxes, but radio EFLC stations don't play but only give a static noise, like when changing stations AND switching to IndependenceFM crashes the game. I have no songs in there, so it's not that.

 

Fresh 1.0.7.0 downgrade with NEW Radio downgrader (w/o new vladivostok FM) -> no white boxes, AND EFLC stations play correctly, (though the trainer shows the wrong name but nevermind), BUT IndependenceFM still crashes the game.

 

So, I don't know what caused the white boxes, but I got rid of them and with new radio downgrader the radio plays fine, except independenceFM, which annoyingly crahses the game. Also I noticed, that sometimes the cars have no engine sound for a few seconds or sometimes minutes, but then it kicks in, what can I do about that?

 

Edit2: I read that a corrupted save can cause the IndependenceFM crash, will look into that later.

 

Edit3: New game didn't solve it, IndependenceFM still crashes the game, very weird. Does not seem to be a corrupted save. Also still have engine sound not playing bug.

 

Not only Lycan, but also Innovation and Revenant names didn't show in game, as their names were missing in the american/german.gxt files. I added them and now it works, though I only tested it in German, whoever wishes to, can test it in english:

Edit4: I'm gonna edit myself to death here. Fixed the missing engine sound, was my bad. Had a little mod installed that should make EFLC music only play in EFLC, not in IV. Always worked fine, but doesn't get along with this mod well. Could've thought of that. IndependenceFM still crashing tho. New game didn't help again. Only thing I need fixed is this, then I'll be forever happy!

 

Edit5: Alrighty, this'll be the last edit for today, promised! I tried different game and radio downgraders, EVERY possible combination, I can't manage to get everything to work. I always end up with either white boxes for EFLC stations, some EFLC radio stations not playing/static noise or IndependenceFM crashing the game or a combination of those.

 

If anyone got this working with NONE of these problems, pls let me know exactly which game and which radio downgrader you used. I would be very thankful, this is driving me sorta crazy.
