yungstirjoey666
Honestly is it just me, or is the length of the evening/sunset in GTA 5 longer than usual? The first glimpse of the evening starts somewhere around 6 pm, but the sun does not completely set until after 10 pm. Normally I don't expect sunsets to last that long, at least more than two hours. And the sun begins to rise by around 4:30 am until some time after 6, making sunrise shorter in comparison. I guess it could be summertime, but it was snowing in North Yankton during the events of the storyline. It's not really that big of an issue, but it does bug me a bit; I really want to experience a little more night time in Los Santos. So what are your thoughts? The sun comes up at 6 am for me and starts to go down completely at 8:30 pm. At 4:45 am you will notice dawn happening. Then at 21:20-30 pm it will be completely dark. Also the reason why you think that the sun is lasting longer because of how the time works in the game. Every 2 seconds irl a second passes in the game. billiejoearmstrong8

I don't know what version you're using, but I suppose it is different in PC. Starting at 5 pm there is a slight tint of orange near the horizon where the sun is setting. The rest of the sky is still light blue. The real sunset begins at 6. By then you'd see more of the tint It's a bit harder to notice due to the clouds, but by 7 the sky turns even more orange, and becomes darker as it approaches 8. However, the sun is still up at the time. By 9 the sun goes below the horizon, but there remains an orange light in the horizon. The orange light doesn't go away until past 11. Here where I live, even during the summer solistice evening doesn't start until around 7:30 pm and completely stops at 10. That is why I am a bit bothered by the over-long sunset. I might upload a sunrise video later. Also please ignore my other cringy videos that I uploaded. Edited June 16, 2021 by yungstirjoey666
