I cant install mods

so I just got a pc and bought gta. I have watched numerous tutorials on installing mods. I have openiv I have script hook 5 but when I try to install it through the package installer it tells me that it is unable to find assembly.xml file. edit mode is on. I'm lost any help would be greatly appreciated
