Oblivious
I took the list 'you guys' have and modified it somewhat. Some may disagree with a few, but I think it's fairly close. I already changed all these names ingame. (If it's a mid-80's model, I don't designate a year) Here's a link to download the modified american.gxt file. Oblivious
Nice, now what about changing the real models of each? Yes, real models would be nice, but not from me. I haven't an ounce of 3D-Modeling talent. I did rename the Comet to 911 in the .gxt file, I just forgot to put it in the list. I'll update the post... STS_SolidSnake
a BMW 735 735i would be nice
Immortal LuD
Car models are the only reason I'd never use real car names... The cars just aren't real! Wish the names were funny like they used to be back in GTA.... The Jugular always cracked me up.
Bruce_Blues
I thought the Regina was a Chevy Caprice Station. But you're probably right..

the_MAD_one
Are you sure about the Deluxo beeing a Delorean? Cause for me the Deluxo looks more like a Renault Alpine A310. Below is a Pic of that Car.
Oblivious
While I'll agree the Renault Alpine looks very similar, I'm also considering what cars you were likely to see in the US in the mid 80's. Honestly, I've never seen an Alpine in real life, though I've seen countless DeLoreans. That, and DeLuxo seemed to insinuate it. The shape of both cars is nearly identical. The Regina and a few other cars are ambiguous models at best. It really could be any of the GM station wagons of the time, Caprice being the most popular. But, it seemed like there already were enough damn chevy's in the game! I changed all this stuff for my own satisfaction anyways, so if you don't agree with names, by all means change them. (using .gxt editor on "main" portion of american.gxt file) Release another updated names "mod" for the community. I've noticed a few things I'd change in it already anyways.... Chezlar
I use the gxt editor to change the names of the towns in the city to the names of the parts of town in my city. I also use it to edit the stuff that pops up on the screen often so it doesn't get annoying.
