I'm not sure who is in control of advertising on GTAForums, but I feel the need to put this out.

 

If this is possible, please remove the video ad below from the site.

I've never known an ad like it. It starts out fine, then it increasingly begins to flash white very fast. I have now seen this ad three times and it has given me a headache after the third time. I fear that it may trigger those who browse with epilepsy and do not make use of adblock, because though it doesn't take up the full screen, it is right in a user's peripheral vision, and unless the user has already seen the ad, they have no way of knowing this ad flashes in their face.

We (and basically any site that contains ads, really) don't control which specific ads appear on the site as that's up to the advertising provider's external code (and their own partners who show their own ads), but we can report them to the provider, so we'll surely be doing that if it's flickering in that way.

These are usually very difficult to track as many times they're regional, and they may never ever appear for some of us.
