RaveX
1st off, sorry if the screenies are a bit big, and also if this has been mentioned before somewhere.. Now, While on the getaway from the cops, 1st by car, then by chopper, and then by plane.. I found the following.. 1st i found a shipwreck just outside the port, and i thought, well okay that looks rather nice and funny Can't remember one beeing there on the PS2... But a few miles further i found another one.. but this one was also accompanied by a Submarine This 2nd one, including the Submarine, you can find in the waters next to the big Mall.. I read some post about some dude wondering if there's a link in Vice to Liberty City. Just like in Liberty City, there's a few links to Vice. Anywho, just notice how the shipwrecks say "Charterded Libertine Lines". It's a long shot, i know [edit] Actually, now that i think of it, isn't this the ship you blow up in GTAIII? Just a thought.. -Gnobe-
I Think i heard somewhere that it was the same ship you blew up in Gta: III aswell, we knew about the shipwrecks though
Mafia Sentinel
I think I remember seeing a recked ship in GTA Vice PS2, but I don't remembers seeing a submarine. And I think that is the ship you destroy in GTA3.
JoeyLeone25
-Gnobe- that isn't possible as VC was set supposidly 20years before GTA3 Anomalous Material.com <--> AMF Multiplayer Topic Join Quidco and get Cashback for buying things online!
The Ultimate Soldier
I can't tell you how many times I have drove by the thing on Vice City. It gets annoying seeing it there all the time, because you can't drive it or nothing. Nice Pics M8. Good Job
RaveX
-Gnobe- that isn't possible as VC was set supposidly 20years before GTA3 But what if the ship you sunk in GTA3 was like 30years old? Then this could be one from the same make and model but i think you shouldn't take "easter eggs" like this, if it is even one, to serious. You should never take those serious actually They're there for fun and such, not to fiddle with the story line. I mean, there's a GTA3 poster on your wall in the hotel. RaveX
ok first, would the ship sink if vice city is really time BEFORE gta3 and gta3 ship was still standing?second, you said submarine, thats a ship looks like one third, good find 1st: like i said, there's a GTA3 poster in ur hotel room. Explain that then.. you should see the more by the order you played the game, or they came out. Like i also mentioned before, not the story line. 2nd: Maybe you should check the last screenie better..
MrLaggy
1st: like i said, there's a GTA3 poster in ur hotel room. Explain that then.. It's obviously for the Degenatron version, where your small green dot steals big green squares and is chased around the screen by scarey red FBI squares . BabyBoco
both sunken ships were in vc for the ps2 and the submarine. 2nd the ships are the same as the one sat the ports in vc. NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER. The only thing suspecious for a connection is a texture in the files called bonus and it has the gta 3 logo on it. along with a newspaper which can be seen at www.rockstarresource.tk
Flashpoint
Its just like when u go into your hideout at Washingotn Beach theres a pic of GTA 3 guy shooting a gun. Maybe the same thing has happened here.

adamcs
hey I flew under the city with my sea sparrow, and flew down to the docks. Guess what, the sunken ship was there, and .......i flew right through it! nothing suspicious! it says "chartered libertine lines" on the side however. lol damn ive seen that sub b4 but i couldnt find it when i looked agian. another connection is the fact that "marcos bistro" has now been discovered. frist min-gun found a set of floating saloon doors in the ocean view hotel which were similar to the ones in "an old friend", and then hidden files named "mob_xxx" were found in the hotel folder in vc. if u put these hidden files into the gta_vc data file, you can actually see the whole bistro where sonny discusses things in the first cutscene. I have a topic about the find with screens in the general discussion if u r interested.
