guerilla_man
Hey Guys! I wanted to say I really enjoy playing Red dead redemption 2 game. I enjoyed all the hunting activities and fun stuff to do. I want to continue playing for as much as possible. But I feel I need a break from the game Just for a little while and why? It feels when I begin a new game I am Just doing the same stuff over and over. I mean I play other games. But These other games I play I never really experienced before and are new to me and unlock new mysteries for me for example another game I play is Assassins creed Origins and Odyssey. Because I never done these quests before and if I did them over and over again I get different choices. Red dead redemption 2 is a massive best graphics I ever seen in a real western game. There are maybe other things I can work towards in red dead redemption 2 like I never done before like gain the sets of cigarette cards and obtain the silver handcuffs. Or complete challenges all of them. Or complete treasures. I don't want boredom to settle in. or obtain all of the trapper pelts are many different things I can do that I never really completed yet in RDR2. Please update me on anything new in RDR2 campaign. I don't play online but maybe it might give me something different to do. But I really don't mind starting fresh new game with rdr2 . I really want to obtain those trapper pelts. I don't want to get bored . Hunting is great ! But it feels like you hunt things the same way over and over again . Tell me your thoughts.

Yeah, after a while everything sort of blends in where you see the same things and do the same things no matter what, especially when you have played since launch, i have gotten bored also honestly and have not really played for a month or more

I do not mean to get bored but I eliminate boredom by doing different projects. games like Red Dead redemption 2 can feel like the same thing over and over and same rewards. I don't mean to go off topic with another game but Minecraft gives you a story and a sense of accomplishment every time you play and is different but still the same thing over and over. If you feel like RDR2 feels like the same thing play a different game and expand your imagination. LorshZontek
Lemoyne outlaw
yes i do feel that way sometimes. i love rdr2. and its one of my favorite games. but since the game is nearly three years old. it has started to feel stale. i have been replaying the story ever since i beat it the first time. even now i am on my umpteenth playthrough. and it has gotten kind of boring. in fact now when i do my playthroughs. i take multiple days break from the story so i dont get burnt out. i also like to do some of the stranger missions. so im not just playing the main story. i also like the hunting and fishing. and i like to do some gambling too. but at this point the map is starting to feel stale. its the same old towns and the same old locations. i like to do rampages in the towns against to law. but that gets boring because i have done it in every town a billion times. i feel like having a story dlc would really help make the game feel fresh and alive again. having a new story and new features and weapons. it would be great. but sadly i dont think we will ever see one since the game is almost three years old. i do play the online. but its just not as good as singleplayer. and you have to deal with griefers. but it can be fun. at this point im just looking forward to when we get a new rockstar game. Cyper
A bit. There is not going to be any DLC for the game. Rockstar have stated that they're ''done'' with Singleplayer. I had to replay the game at version 1.0 because the most recent patch ruined the game for me with a lot of pop-ups. IMO the game is like an opened bottle of wine: it gets worse as time passes by. Each update has the potential to ruin something. kubon352
Acetaminophen
Not even close. Too much to do. I just live my life in the game. Something I did with every R* openworld game Till GTA5. Tryve1 and The Tracker
Cutter De Blanc
I dunno, I haven't played it in awhile I still haven't gotten 100% I cant say I get bored whenever I play it Although I hardly ever play it much these days
The Tracker
Not a single bit. Back in early 2020? Maybe, but after playing Cyberpunk, and realizing how much I wanted to play a real Next-Gen Open World game, I went straight back to it and realized how much I took it for granted. Truly, there's almost no single player open world games in this generation (and the last one), which let you interact and suck yourself into the world as much as RDR2, it's like playing GTA IV/EFLC all over again. olivier8472
Each new RDR2 run I made always was different than the previous one. Knowing the story I wanted my Arthur to do more and more each run , doing new challenges, going to new austin ,but also saving some stuff for J. Then I found some awesome glitchs to keep things new : the companion glitch, out of the map glitch . Also thanks to some great guys from YouTube I also discovered ways to get hats, the best horses and nice weapons early for my Arthur . So last november I started a run which had all that, and for me it was the perfect run you could do . I made my first break from the game since its release after that run. Two months later I heard about the save corruption glitch and here I am already back at playing RDR2. I just bought a physical edition of the game for a future unpatched run which will be a first for me (got the digital version). Seems I like this game to say the least... Buddy Hightower
I played through twice. Now I'm waiting on my new xbox, once I get that I'll probably load it up and play through one last time and then have John available at end game forever. RDR2 is by far my favorite story-game of all time. Edited May 11, 2021 by Buddy Hightower Taterman and Jimbatron
JohnVyse
I didn't start to get bored of this game until the 300 hour mark. I wish R* would announce a new game. Lemoyne outlaw

Ive not got bored or it yet and I’ve done 4 100% runs. But I just filled to compendium last weekend, maybe that’ll start to change. There’s only so much you can play one thing, however good without it being repetitive. Im sure I will come back to it again on occasion, but it will be a cracking shame if they don’t do some short story mode DLC. All that investment has gone into the map, why not make more use of it. Mission scripting is different resource to map artists, no reason this should substantially slow up GTA VI etc. Unfortunately markets get concerned about rates of return not just doing as much as you can that is profitable. kubon352
Soon this game will be 3 years old. If they haven't released single player DLC so far, they never will.
Cutter De Blanc
I'm trying to do all the challenges again. Trying to have fun with them, instead of grinding them out. CynicalMexican
If I'm being honest, RDR2 is the sort of game that I feel I can only play once. Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing game with everything it does, but it's so linear that it feels like "once you've done it once, you've done it all". Marston1911
Sometimes i take a break and play other games, but I come back to it. I found TLOU2 more slow. I played it once and traded it in as I would probably never play it again. RDR2 however, has a lot happening apart from the main story.
Jabalous
I started a new playthrough months ago and still taking it slowly to this day. I play 2-3 time a week so that it doesn't get stale at this point in its lifetime, and I still enjoy exploring and admiring the views. No game has the natural looks and feel of RDR2 to this day. I just wish that R* will utilize this world more by building more stories to experience. Hell, I'd pay $30 for a map and story expansion. It's just so good that I want more, but sad that I know I won't get any. I mean come on, these worlds are now taking ages and a lot of money investment to build, so milk it more by creating sub-story games similar to AC, but at least in the case of RDR2, we will play something of a high quality and not the Ubisoft crap. I'm bummed that all the ongoing and upcoming investment is going toward the repetitive, soulless and grindy Online portion.
