This is complete remaster of all weapons, items, pickups and other mission / cutscene 
various tools and weapons.This is not your average free downloaded models from internet 
and tossed in the game, this is high quality, well optimized, bought and made models, 
and each weapon is exactly the same (real life) model of default weapon.
This is not remastered to measurement of default weapons which this game did to some 
weapons from oversizing to weird stretching.Weapons are sized to the real gun measurement.


But nothing in the end is perfect, so is this.

Despite game being very old, player holding weapons sometimes share same animation so it's hard to fit both 
player hands, object size and muzzle position.Weapons are fit to the Mobile Hands mod.

 

Audio reading of this game is also terrible and limited, so I had to fit sounds so game
can read it similar to real gun sounds, but this is without doubt best audio you can have
in your mod collection.
First time I identified correctly all sounds in Bank-137, info you couldn't find anywhere.
If anyone makes script which will load audio correctly, sounds will be made again.

skateboard and adrenaline pill is unused in this game so you can delete following:
(it's there for some mods)

If you don't see reflection on camera lens or sniper scope glass like in video, you do not use any of reflection
mods for your game  - ENB / Skygfx 


I decided not to adapt it to EnhFuncs - Enhanced Functions cause of maybe better script in future like
Weapon Funcs from Junior - still rumor

editing this mod for normal maps plugins or some reflection mods is useless, models already have reflection settings,
normal maps / AO / speculars baked on diffuse textures

Because it's optimized and inner parts are deleted, and like I said

What software are you using for modeling and texturing? 

Autodesk maya? Zbrush? 3Ds Max? Substance Painter? Blender? 3D Coat?

That's cool! Nice job. Do you have anything up next?

Enhancing buildings or mesh smoothing the map would have been quite cool.

 

Edit: Covering more for Insainty CJ would have been awesome.

I guess you have your plans already, but just some suggestions such your work is awesome.

only 3ds max, and Blender for baking AO and Normals

Making any map mod alone will not see the daylight, it's funny like you know, I started doing thing just like that, started in downtown LS, remastered all roads, freeway and 5 buildings, they have soft fake shadows in vertex color style,

but too much time consuming, and I would be depressed with just downtown LS finished.

Maybe I will share that one day, just for breaking hearts of people.

 

I don't have plans, I did this mod cause I had few models already bought from internet, I use to search exactly the same weapons they used in this game, and I figure let's do this mod, all weapon mods are trash if you ask me, don't mean disrespect.I think we are pretty much WRAPPED this up now, no better guns will be made that's for sure.

 

If I start doing CJ, I'll first do the characters, so he can blend in, so very hard to see that coming.

My old mods are not to continue tho, everything I made today Is another level.

Remastering an area actually takes too long, there was someone who did Jefferson not log ago

I think it took a year to do it... Do it only if is slow, but why not as a team?

 

PD: For the insanity cj textures you used substance painter right?

and ped_spec.asi for the hq cutscene characters is only needed when vertices aren't welded correctly.

Mesh needs to be clean af in other words.

 

Here's Bank 137 identity finally for the first time, would be cool staff at gtawiki to update it, but doubt they are still active there.

This is not simple as you think to edit, WHY?

Sound won't play as your hear it on your Desktop Media, as I've mentioned above it is limited and most guns share same sound with different play pitch and volume.

@Ezekiel Cool mod, still stick to your old insanity weapons/pick-ups thou. Why did you prefer to baked the bump-mapping when you can make it dynamic with DK22Pac's normal map plugin instead?

Well, I meant I baked some maps, but you guys wouldn't even know which one are they unless I showed you here.

It was mostly AO, normals and bumps are rare (Pink dildo, parachutes, mostly pickups, cause most of models are metallic type.

That plugin is not so popular as you might think, it's not even stable and have conflict with other mods.

Insanity is not even covering as much models as I made here, not to talk about optimization, uv maps are terrible and to much textures in txd archives = draw calls in game = fps drop.They don't match hand, most weapons is not even actual gun which is represented in the game, parachute crash the game etc.

Wake up bro.

Well, my model is ok if you ask, lol, but I check it, there is no texture when I opened it in game,

idk what 'you' got, but this is samp issue,

you know samp is update like 8 years ago, I don't think it can keep up with these next gen stuff, I looked in to SAMP images, there's no parachute data anywhere, so sorry pal, although you can remove

 parachute.dff and paracx.txd if it cause troubles.
