My 2 cents 'bout Vice City

oke lets start of with the obvious, its f*cking great!!

 

1) the story, its awsome, and the main character even says things this time! with the voice casting of ray liotta

 

2) and i like the fact that they changed it so you can only have 1 type of gun, but what f*cking idiot can carry about 900 shotgun shells?

i mean c'mon, you cant carry 2 shotguns but you can carry over 900 shells?

 

3) and whats getting old is the bridges, oowh big suprise vice city was on 2 islands, and the bridge was broken down again..

 

cant they just make 1 big normal city, instead of these dam islands

 

and there way to small i say, there long alright, but from side to side its very small, so you basicly most of the game your going either up or down

 

4) and why for the love of god did they remove the trails, it made GT3 look awsome

 

5) and why do people get out of there cars if you shoot them now, thats just dumb

 

in GTA3 when they drove away madly when you shot at them it was far more realistic

 

6) i miss police bikes, that would be really nice

 

thats about i think, there are way more cool things in Vice City that i'm not going to post here, couse i dont feel like it and there quite obvious i think

Though there have been a few topics about this i have to agree with you, Gta: Vice City is great, i hope there are a lot more things to come in the next version

owh, and i forgot to post that the game is way to easy

 

on the pc you have a mouse, wich makes aiming 20 times easier, they could have made the missions harder, i.e. toughen your ennemies up or something

2) There would be too many guns in the game if this was allowed. There would be no way to drop them. No one would like to cycle between like 20 guns just to find the one you need.

 

3) It makes you want to do the missions to open the island, so it feels like you achieved something. You would be lost if they just opened up in the big city.

 

4)Trails are still there.....( at least on my ps2 version)

5) Some get out, some drive away....random behavior. Most people stall and panic in situations like these.

The trails are still there. They make the game look a hundred times better than without (it looks like GTA3 with trails off).

there is no trails, not even an option to try and turn them on.  they do some cool effects with the lights but that is not the same thing.

The game is better than GTA3 in most aspects. Only thing thats lacking is the decreased traffic volume. The miamitraffic cheat increases the traffic a little and they drive around obstacles but they dont stop for lights and its tough to jack a car.For weapons it would be cool to have simulation mode where you can only carry a few weaps and store the rest at a hideout, then arcade where you can carry all weaps and be able to assign keys for each weap type. When you rob stores the clerks never say anything like "dont shoot me!" or if you already robbed the store once they should say "not you again".

Yah the bikes are a friggin' blast. I try and ride the PCJ 600 when ever possible.

Bikes are definately awesome, and I also share the same wish that they had added Police bikes.   I'm surprised they didn't, sure they can't knock you around like a car but damn they'd still be cool, you could have them try and shoot out your tires instead.
