Spetsnaz Posted May 18, 2003 Share Posted May 18, 2003 Is there any easy way to be able to get the Havana outfit, i read somewhere that if you stand on a PCJ and jump through the wall roof you can get it. This worked once for me, but i was stupid enough not to save the replay and have not been able to get it since. If you have found some way of editing files so the wall is not there, or move the acctual outfit just slightly north so it would be in the doorway, this would be very helpful. If not could someone please save a replay so i can see exactly how to place the bike/jump etc. to get it? Thank you Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Homer Simpson Posted May 18, 2003 Share Posted May 18, 2003 It's not very neat but I've moved the building a couple of meters to the left for you. This does however leave a gap between buildings so I wedged a palm tree there so at least you don't accidentally drive down it whilst on a mission. If you walk through the gap the game simply puts you back on the path. The suit only moves out of the doorway halfway through the game so people who have the Havana suit already in the door don't need to do this (yet) go to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\data\maps\littleha or where your maps\littleha is installed and replace littleha.ipl with the one in the zip (below) *make a back up first though* HERS'S THE IPL FILE This is what it looks like... I'm sure someone will get around to moving the suit itself (I might) but for now this was the quickest way I could think of, I didn't even realise the suit had moved until I read your post and thought "what is he on about, you simply walk in to the shop and get it" Doh! So it is there for a while and then moves? Or have I done somthing in a spesific order to mess it up... If so, 'prevention is always better than... fixing it' What did you mean by it only moves there half way through? Homer Simpson Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 I'm only guessing it moves about halfway through the game, if I load an earlier save game it appears in the doorway ok but when I now load my latest one it appears about 2 meters to the left.
