Can I play with keyboard and mouse on PS5 or XBOX-X?

Hello everybody. I'd like to switch to a console, since the modders situation on PC has become unbearable. However, I have a problem with aiming with controllers. I am sure a lot of you folks can have fun with controllers but I just can't.

 

Does anybody know if it's possible to play GTA and Online (current and the upcoming enhanced) with mouse and keyboard, natively, without any dodgy third party peripheral or software, on PS5 or XBOX-X?

without peripherals...no

 

unless R* remove the restrictions and enable you to play with keyboard, if done right you should get matched with pc players, bringing you back to square 1 😂

Not with the current version, which is running through backwards compatibility. Maybe the Expanded and Enhanced version will support it.

PS5 and Xbox Series X have keyboard and mouse support, but it is up to the game developers to use it.

I joined the forums to ask this question.

Hope this isn't too off-topic to highjack the thread, but if someone knows a "dodgy third party peripheral or software" like OP mentioned, I'd love to hear about it. Gunplay is so poor with a controller IMO. Really hope for KBM support sometime soon, hopefully with the upcoming PS5 release.

Dam Son... it looks complicated and expensive. Think I'll wait to see if the PS5 version has KBM support and, if not, guess I'll have to get one of these. Thanks.
