Spoiler

San Andres is filled with mysterious and unusual sh*t that either assists you, intrigues your friends & allies, or at the very least catches your eyes. When you find a lost goody, dont hesitate to pick it up. You never know, someone might benefit from it.

Now remember, it's best advised to memorize or in our cases note down on a notepad the missions where you found specific collectibles because this would come in handy later on and the collectibles would serve their purpose. In order to do that, you NEED to know the mission names where you found said collectibles.

1- Lemmy's bike rims

Total rims in Chapter 2
4

WARNING: Only one variety of collectible can be found in any mission.
(Eg: You wont find two Lemmy's bike rims in the same mission)

This MP was originally under development back in the summer of 2019 and went as far as making an announcement and first 4 missions that didnt get published but eventually the author, me, came to the plans of not continuing DYOM at the time........ until this year.

Ah yes, nice to see this community is still kicking on. It's been uh ... I can't remember. But I guess I'll make a comeback only for this time.

So, you, good luck whatever you're planning this mission to be. Let's see if I can install DYOM again.

I dunno, where to start, the moment of M316 making his very first mission pack and end up like this is something that DYOM has ever tried to reach it's greatness. That said: REBOUND

Spoiler

So let's start with the

Writing/Plot:

Spoiler

It ranged from kinda decent to a pretty good and a few amazing ones. It features an open minded presentation with cool characters. It shares their objectives, life goals, ambitions. The character that was open minded and wanted to have a better life is called Andrew. A protagonist which basically has Claude skin, struggles in life, wants to find something achievable, finds good friends that they joke about (especially Tony and Chris which they are of course also open minded characters, even Evengeline where Andrew saved her from her abusive boyfriend.). Andrew Patterson is indeed a good protagonist. I was surprised with this dialogue, because how he was acting so real. I like how things didn't went so fast when it wasn't suppose to. The cutscenes properly explained the whole plot itself. Even the antagonists were well written. Especially the Loan Shark boss member where he had a dialogue with AP in a restaurant. I was laughing at one scene where Chris and Andrew was drinking and it was using these funny ass transitions. Like OH MY GOD. where do these ideas come from? It's basically something that a designer would never do. Even SD transition makes the scene funnier. And also a meeting with Tony made me think that they were acting like family too. They were like friends for 7 years and still in the same position as usual. The shopping scene was unique and something innovative. The ending of the chapter 1 gave me feels and had some quotes that made smile a bit. Giving a backstory about them would be really cool since I was interested with these characters with their goals, deepness, etc. The story was acceptable, good and fun to follow. As my raiting wise. It will be 8/10.

Grammar:

Spoiler

It was acceptable, but the spelling has some minor flaws, but it's not a big deal. So gonna give 9/10 for this.

Length:

Spoiler

This ranged from good to perfect. None of the missions felt too short or very long. Also, loads of cutscenes and action to talk about. So 10/10 for this one.

Difficulty:

Spoiler

It was okay at it's best. Went from easy to hard really slow. The last missions were hard, because it required to do some stealth, which was also frustrating. Also the parkour in the last mission which was also hard. Can't talk more about it, cus it didn't provide a lot in Chapter 1 yet. Will give 7/10 on this one.

Cutscnes:

Spoiler

Was alright, nothing really special but well done at what it intended to show. Especially final missions which basically improved it. 7/10

Scenario:

Spoiler

That was so good, had some missions where a lot of cars, objects, and interiors were used effectively. He used a map editor to make a hospital with the objects that we never seen before and also DYOM# objects aswell. Props to the designer who tried his best to increase a great atmosphere with the objects that were made with the mapping script and with the dyom# addon. Overall, I feel like there was loads of great scenarios for each mission. 9/10

Presentation:

Spoiler

Once again, it showed alot of good things about the characters and the plot itself. The characters were open minded, ambitious and well written. Some missions proved big amount of variety than others, which others were full of story going and that is awesome. We need to have some more writing to understand the plot better, if there would be none, the writing would be a lackluster. It had loads of impression with the objects, gameplay mechanics and also the SD files.  In my words, this mission pack is something that it's trying to prove most of the things right that it got amazingly enhanced. I feel like this mission pack is gonna have some kinda deep writing in the future chapters and I can't wait to progress into the story, gameplay, variety of objects, because this presentation got me on BLAST. IT WAS FIRE. 9/10

Overall raiting of chapter 1:

Spoiler

8.5/10

Spoiler

I want to see where this will head into. Hope it won't be an another generic shooter, which will basically have hundreds of enemies to kill at one position. And it feels like there's GOTTA BE some kind of racing missions, because when I have entered a garage where Chris showed me. It made me impressed as hell. Also if you have any problems with these things I mentioned in my review, don't forget to ask. There will be something I can improve these aspects that you're having a hard time a bit. Don't get hyped from a big score, because 4 chapters is still a long way to go. Can't wait for Chapter 2. :D

Appreciate the kind words my friend, this is (no joke) probably the best review for Chapter 1 so far that i have recieved not cos it is mostly positive but you higlighted its best and a little bit of its worst even some of them can insinuated like the gameplay difficulty part, but yeah i envisioned rebound to be dialogue based alot of the time but ehhhh, i am trying to compensate with some gameplay here and there for it, so yeah stay tuned for more and hopefully i dont disappoint, thanks again!!!

Yeah. I already wanted to take my hands on this chapter. All of the cons and flaws I've mentioned most of the things were fixed, added and made it even better.

Spoiler

Writing/Plot:

Spoiler

I mostly praised chapter 1 due to his intriguing writing, but in Chapter 2 this sh*t goes into a fan. The story went dark as I quite expected less. It always featured an open-minded presentation with cool characters (even new ones were really well made. I really liked Cal for his actions and jokes let's just say haha. In some parts, we have to play as him. I actually liked the unique perspectives of playing other characters and experiencing more to them. Tony was indeed a respectable homie with huge balls. The dialogue felt like I was watching a high-budget TV series or either a movie. I also liked the references of Chris' PS2 playing  San Andreas and talking about Cryptocurrency. This is where I had laughed the most. It broke the 4th wall, but in a hilarious way. The cutscenes properly explained the whole plot itself. The antagonists were... let's just say well written, I guess but they have some flaws. I liked Kazushi quite a lot, because a designer showed his perspective the most while others mostly weren't shown or explained further what are their goals, etc. Especially Luke and others (i literally almost forgot the character names of how they weren't shown a lot compared to their boss of The Red Bulls gang Kazushi). The ending of chapter 2 gave me strange vibes and made me think what will happen to my playable character. Honestly, the story got improved, but severes from small flaws like not showcasing other antagonist goals. As my rating wise. It will be 8/10.

Grammar:

Spoiler

It was acceptable, improved comparing to chapter 1. 10/10

Length:

Spoiler

As always, the mission produces an amazing example of endless length. 10/10

Difficulty:

Spoiler

From my DYOM experience this is possibly one of the hardest mission packs I have played in a while. The stealth missions were pain in the ass, the accuracy was insane whenever the enemies were trying to shoot you. All of the enemies had a crazy good accuracy and it was too frustrating to get rid of them. Especially the mission where you had to driveby. Since I have no problems with missions being challenging (atleast they are possibe to finish) imma give this 7.5/10, because it tried innovating the DYOM playerbase.

Cutscenes:

Spoiler

A massive improvement comparing to the last one. Good job! It had some tough and badass moments too.  10/10

Presentation:

Spoiler

Once again, it showed alot of good things about the characters and the plot itself. The characters were really cool, badass and well written. Some missions had AN INSANE AMOUNT OF DETAILS like a custom made kitchen, DYOM# object placements, like it was too pretty and amazing to look at. This is possibly a new MP that focused more into a new exprience of putting new objects and even new animations for a MP. Impressed with the objects, gameplay mechanics and also the SD files.  In my words, this mission pack is something that it's trying to prove most of the things right that it got amazingly enhanced. 10/10

Overall raiting of chapter 2:

Spoiler

9.5/10

Chapter 1 is amazing, felt like a offbrand movie. But the stealth and parkour is impossible, the ai has 4 eyes, two on the front and two in the back, it's frustrating, also, about the parkour, the objects layout is pretty confusing and frustrating as well, here's an fail of me in the parkour section (spoilers): A
