The Vice City Manatees greatest quarterback was Randy Selva, who is the HD GTA Universe version of Dan Marino. "Randy" being a play on the name "Danny" and "Selva" being a reference to Andy Selva, who was the highest scoring soccer player for... you guessed it, San Marino.

Go Manatees!

The last stranger(s) you sent to the Altruists are not killed, since Trevor was taken at gunpoint alongside them, they couldn't have kept him waiting, sacrified the lastest victim, and them clean the altar to having him dragged out so quickly.

I have a theory that the members of the Smileys gang in Manhunt have gone insane because of the SPANK drug from GTA III.
They are very similar to the SPANK addicted madmen seen in the mission "Kingdom Come". They have similar behavior, such as incoherent talking, screaming, and suicidal tendencies (e.g. they try to rush you with a knife while you are pointing a shotgun at their face). And some of them even wear similar overalls.
My guess is that the Smileys were part of a secret experiment to test the effect of SPANK, but things got out of control, so they just locked them up in the Darkwoods Penitentiary.
This would also explain why Starkweather wanted to get Cash killed in the prison. That way nobody finds out what happened to the Smileys - aside from the people who watch Starkweather's snuff movies.

Also something completely different:
I've seen some people say that the naming of the Blista and the Blista Compact in the 3D Era doesn't makes any sense - one of them is a Dodge Caravan and the other is a Honda CR-X, so R* clearly made a mistake by giving the same name to two completely unrelated vehicles.
However, there are several real life examples of two different car manufacturers using the the same name, such as the Ford/GMC Sierra, Lincoln/Bentley Continental, Buick/Toyota Century, Chrysler/Maserati Sebring, Oldsmobile/Lancia Delta etc.
So I think it's completely plausible that the Blista and the Blista Compact are made by two different companies in the 3D Era.

Adding onto it:

-Starkweather sells his movies to "Japanese businessmen", so maybe the Yakuza has some ties in Carcer City as well? I don't buy the idea that Mr. Nasty is Donald Love, it's the kind of stupid sh*t like thinking that two characters are the same just because they have the same first name

-The Blista Compact we see in Manhunt is actually the Blista Compact GPX, a variant of the original with sportier performance and parts.

HOW'S ANNIE?

More anti-everyone else's head canon than my own head canon; but I believe each GTA map exists as it is seen in game. Unless the map is connected to the mainland, like III, each location exists as an island(s) like depicted in-game. I know a lot of people believe they're all technically connected to mainland America, and that the ocean only acts as a boundary. But for whatever reason or another, that belief has never really sat quite right with me.

I think there's some mentioned evidence in the game that contradicts this.

The left island in Vice City is explicitly called "Mainland Vice" which would imply that it is directly connected to a mainland, and we know that the rest of real life Florida exists in the 3D Universe, so there is a "mainland" that simply isn't depicted in the game.

We know that there is also supposed to be a capital city in 3D Universe San Andreas that is never seen; we know it's outside of the map somewhere because there is no city in the game that is explicitly called the state capital, nor is there necessarily a building or neighborhood that would operate as the "state capitol" area so there probably is supposed to be more of the map that isn't seen. I think the mountains that surround the Venturas island part of the map kinda imply that there's supposed to be a mainland, and acts as an illusion to make the map feel like it's connected to other areas.

With Grand Theft Auto IV, we do know that an Upstate Liberty is frequently mentioned, and that the Carraways (based on The Hamptons) is supposed to be directly east of Dukes. And while it doesn't necessarily mean much, we do have concept maps connecting Liberty City and Alderney to the rest of a larger Liberty, Alderney, the Carraways, and New England, so Liberty City is supposed to be connected to something larger.

Lester Crest directly mentions a "Paleto River", so obviously Rockstar intend for GTA V's map to be connected to the rest of San Andreas (the San Fierro Bay Area is probably due a few more hours north).

Don't forget the weird way the mountains north of Bayside just abruptly jut into the ocean

After the revenge ending, niko moved out of the algonquin penthouse and permanently moved into playboy x's loft. Mainly because he wants to give the newly Wed roman and mallorie their own privacy and not be in the way, but also because he wants to mourn kate in solitude. I wish after you get the safe house niko would take down the photos of playboy x and put one up of roman & mallorie or even kate.
