Camp Issues on PC?

Over the last week, I have had problems with my Camp refusing to spawn. It's annoying because the only way to fix it is to log out and log back in, and then all the pelts and carcasses on my horse go away. Also, I have had issues with the camp disappearing when I leave it, and having to pay $2.00 to set it up again, and a few minutes later, it's gone again. I had a session last week where I paid $6 in an hour (real time, not game time) to be able to drop off my hunting and pelts to Cripps. I have seen some posts about bugs on the other platforms, but for PC I only started to see it last week (I have been playing since January 2021). 

 

Is there a way to fix this, or is it something that has been going on for a while, and hasn't been addressed in any patches? Should I report it as a bug, or is it a known issue?

It used to happen a lot, now it has kind of started up again.

You can't do anything, really, because it seems to have something to do with

the lobbies constantly merging (which is also when you usually lose all your buffs.)

So if you've been noticing the constant merging of the lobby, with people in it changing, then

that is why. Reporting it wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it helps and I at least HOPE that they know

about it.

 

One thing that I noticed that seemed to help, as far as still having a camp (even if it moves) is

having the LARGE camp (7 people) from having a persistent posse (even if you are the only one.)

At least this works for me in Hennington's Stead, since it seems so unpopular. The large camp

spots seem to be different, than regular, as far as where they can be?

 

I've not had it disappear, with me having no camp, on the Xbox One; instead, I've had the camp MOVE.

Like my camp will be near McFarlane's, which is fine, then I'll go towards the camp icon again and it is 

near Stillwater.

 

This was fine, since it then gave me a "Resupply" mission to give a whitetail deer to the 

trapper, who is right at Stillwater. So my resupply mission, with the wagon of goods, took a minute (deer

was right in front of me, too.)  

 

No idea why it moves my camp, though, since no one was where my camp used to be either. Weird.

Thank you for the insight. I didn't get the Bounty Hunter reward on the Navy Revolver 2 weeks ago, or the care package, so the Support Team told me to run the File Integrity on my game files. Now the Camp issues have started up. It wasn't an issue until I ran the File Integrity check.

I had my camp completely disappear a few times but not nearly as often as you. I have had my camp moved thousands of times.

 

Don't count on R* fixing it. They've known of the issue for over a year and the only thing they've done is increase the frequency of lobby merges which is where the problem lies.
