I bought 70 gold bars at the store but can't find how many I have left

You'll see your gold displayed in the top right of the screen when you enter a shop or press down on he d-pad.

They are easy to earn in game if you put a bit of effort in!!

Probably "newb" mistake, I did the same thing 

 

I only bought the one time 20 gold bars, for $4.95, when the Trader/Bounty Hunter and Collector roles first went in;

this was because I could only afford one at the time (Trader), the Collector one was free (52 cards in GTAO) so

I wanted to buy the Bounty role too.

 

I was dumb, at the time, not knowing how keeping up your streak made the dailies .5 gold eventually and you could

just keep them at that (until that "nerf", some time ago.) So I missed out on a LOT of "good gold", having played this

since Online was first in beta.

 

Once I was clued into doing the dailies, I felt ashamed that I had bought gold 

Even after the "nerf", you only make 33 percent less gold overall (so keeping the streak/doing dailies

is still worth it, just less so.) Originally, people were saying 66 percent less but when someone figured

it out overall for 28 days it was only 33 percent less gold total.

 

I was also dumb and did not know about "resetting" the awards, for up to X times (10) at .4 gold a time.

I wish it had spammy reminders for stuff like that, you might not know about without really reading a message

board about the game all the time. "Say cowpoke, you are not resetting your awards for that fat .4 gold up to 10 times!

nor are you keeping up a daily streak which ends up being up to .5 gold per daily!" (before the daily nerf), is what

the game should have been spamming me sometimes.

I can't buy gold bars on steam has the moonshiners shack always cost gold? Im pretty sure I bought it with cash on my console accounts.

All the roles cost gold, yes.  Redecorating them also does, apparently.  Noticed that a few weeks ago when I was going to change things up but nooooope.  Nothing of substance is available for cash
