That doesn't prove anything. Games are releasing in the scheduled period or date until an announcement is made that they're not. Rockstar could announce E&E has been delayed to 2022 tomorrow, next week or in June for all we know. They'll keep saying second half of 2021 until that announcement would be made.

I can 100% guarantee that we are getting a Rockstar game announcement untill Sep.

 

Maybe the trilogy, maybe the E&E(most probable), maybe Gta Vi(not probable).

I'd expect E&E news in June/July. It's about 1 year after announcements, so it makes the most sense.

Kinda sad how E&E gets the "new game" threament isn't it?

Announcement and then at least one year of silence...

 

Oh well covid situation seems to be going away (at least here) with the vaccine and all so maybe things will pick up soon.

I think the reality this time, is that E&E was suddenly pushed onto them with little notice. They literally had nothing to say or show as they'd not long started.

I like that R* seems to never blatantly blame the pandemic for interrupting their work. Many studios simply said, "X has been delayed because of Covid-19". They just release the WFH statement back in March last year, and that's it. 

 

Corect me if I'm wrong, though, I don't remember everything R* had said from the beginning of the pandemic.

Well you're right but I would rather preserve that Sony has a bit more chance for bull's eye when it comes to the E&E release than some baseless predictions. COVID is a good point to start with, but none of us knows what they're cooking behind the scenes. Or what they're not.

 

I could say it's just a remaster, why the delay but I know that I would have been superficial. I hope we get it later this year, I really want the story on PS5 again.

 

Oh and $70 is pretty OK for me though.

That doesn't matter though. That was just a standard tweet put out by whatever admin(s) runs the PlayStation Twitter account. Literally zero stock can be put into anything that comes out of it like that. Rockstar North may realize that they won't be able to hit a release date this year, and Sony won't even know about it until they tell them. It's no different than saying RDR2 will release in fall 2017 "Because it says so on the website". Look at every game delay ever. A game is releasing on [insert date here] until it's not. And they'll keep using the old date until it's delayed or released. Simple as that, really. It's not complicated.

I bet my left nut they are delaying this almost decade old game again.

Remember that R* is capable of delaying anything... even a companion app for iOS and Android.

My only hope is that 8 years from now some random dude in his basement will fix the "expanded" glitches and bugs of this "enhanced" gem just like he did with the loading times.

Why are you raising your panic? E&E will be released in the second half of 2021. Just patience and that's it. In the summer, a trailer will be dumped that the new version will be released in a couple of days, for example, as with updates for online.
