This  is pre-RDR2 all over again, people yelling to the skies RDR2 would "probably be bad" because R* was only focusing on releasing updates for GTAO and "kesh kerds" and oh look, RDR2 was good.

What if instead of a GTA 6 we get an announcement for GTA mobile with an expected launch at the end of 2023 (later delayed to 2024)?

Zynga could've been working on that for the last 4 years or so.

I also wonder if RDR2 is Rockstar's last good game or if GTA 6 and RDR3 will still be good games before the gaming industry gets owned by microtransactions and nfts even in Story Modes, among other awful practices to come.

Jokes aside. Hope Rockstar take as long as they need with gta 6. Even if it’s not announced this year. Id rather play the best game they can make and not a rushed one

that settles it. Rockstar is making the next GTA in 80s vice city just for Rayan. Unfortunately, the old project has been scrapped and development on the game has restarted as of today

Quite unlikely isn't it? Characters have always returned in GTA. Claude & Catalina from III in SA, Ken from VC in SA, Avery from VC in LCS, Packie, Johnny, ULP and many more from IV in V. I would be very surprised if there are NO characters from V returning in VI. Just a question which ones it gonna be. Someone like Lester, might be...

Can easily be. Just because it's been 10 years since the last entry, does no mean it has been in development for 10 years.

it most certainly has. Even if its not full development, im 100% sure GTAVI has been conceptualized since before GTA5 went gold and active development probably started in around 2016-2017 with more employees joining the project after production on RDR2 wrapped up. 
 

If they were to announce 6 today and some guy calls it "rushed" it would be f*cking laughable. The last entry is now multigenerational
