Lol, that NGT person again, it's been brought up here time and time again and I'm pretty sure there was even a post mentioning how they had gotten other things wrong? People just decided to believe them because of the Quantic Dream thing at the time.

Dunno maybe I just have no patience for all these rumours, especially ones that have already been debunked. Henderson changing course about the trilogy suddenly (first he said it was 2022), Henderson admitting he was trolling GTAF with the VI stuff, NGT being a complete random. I mean, you can continue believing your "insiders", I'll just be watching where I'm standing - if I'm wrong I'm wrong.

I totally get it. When you get to a certain age, you've seen it all and had enough experience to know how things work. I'm at the "don't f*cking care, but it's entertaining" phase. So yeah, I don't trust anyone, either. That said, I'm willing to give time to anyone with an extensive and proven track record. Regardless of their agenda or personality, etc. And jason Schreier has that. Although, not everyone knows everything. And not everything stays the same.

I mean, I like speculation (and after all this is the topic for it, and I've done years of it for GTA V and RDR2 too), I just have my reasons to be more sceptical towards some of these people is all.  Between all of those Schreier is the most trustworthy due to his previous track record and obvious industry connections, but I also don't think that he's 100% right or infallible personally.

these supposed leakers are spreading b.s. for clout. Accounts like NGT come out of nowhere with one leak and suddenly they know about GTA 6 and Red Dead Remake. And peoples just eat it up

In addition to trusting the person speaking on the internet, there is the intermediary of the rumor, and the information can change, the information may not pass through everyone in the company and decisions are made and can generate delay and confusion. It's too much variable to consider a rumor really reliable. I love the rumors a lot but being sceptical about rumors is really essential until the official news or real facts.

Rockstar should release a different, comparatively smaller scaled game in 2023-'24 and then finally try and release GTAVI in 2026-'27 when console sales are more or less saturated. Because GTAV/Online ain't going anywhere anytime soon especially with E&E coming out this year. A 13-14 year gap wouldn't even be unusual for AAA industry. Skyrim came out in 2011 and we'll probably see TESVI in 2025 in the earliest and f*ck knows when we'll get a new Fallout unless someone other than BGS leads the development. Just look at the PSN downloads chart of 2021 (PS4)

Umm it's a speculation topic, that NGT guy is kinda OK here. Anyway the guy suffers from the well-known Henderson-effect where you got something right and all of a sudden you "know things" around Rockstar. Same recipe.

If the trilogy taught me one thing it’s that I just don’t care for remakes/remasters. It’s never as good as you think it’s going to be and updated visuals isn’t enough. It’s still the same story and it’s never going to beat the first time you played it no matter how crap the graphics were in 2002/10. Leave RDR alone and for the love of God do not let GSG within 100 miles of it. Even the Mafia remake I didn’t enjoy. Yea it looked nice but it’s still the same experience you had 10 years prior.

Well not gonna disagree with you there.

I loved the Vice City remaster, played it mostly bug free if you exclude some radio glitches.

 

I wanted to replay the game with the new graphics and control scheme and i am glad they released them. That's why it was an amazing experience for me.

But it was still the same Gta Vice City I replayed a couple years ago.

 

I also played the Dr.dre dlc. It was good.

Fun times. Nice new missions. Etc.

Cool...

 

BUT

 

It just wasn't... Gta Vi!

 

I know V sells like hotcakes but we REALLY need something new this year.

Rockstar is risking a lot by neglecting the fans.

NOBODY is untouchable and Rockstar made a ton of bs decisions (Grove street, neglecting Rdr2/online, Gta V on Ps5, No sign of Vi)

If this continues on they will get their Reputation Cd project Red'ed.

 

Nobody thought Cd project Red would crash and burn that lethally and yet they did...
