How about announcement in 2023, release date in 2025 postponed to 2026 and 2028 for PC? 

 

Then they can release it on PlayStation 6 and call it... enhanced and expanded.

That will absolutely happen, though. If GTA V is on 3 generations, then you can bet GTA VI will be on every generation up until GTA VII releases.

It won't be bad as long as we'll get something made with showing off tech advancements in mind. GTA IV holds so well mainly because of physics and AI.

Heck, they brought back Steppin' Out, a music from GTA Vice City to GTA Online in the LSUR radio, it's not impossible for R* to bring back musics from older GTA's to their new games.

You may think, that it's weird but no, I don't. When I hear specific song I want to think "VI", not "Vice City" or "San Andreas". Just because I would want to revisit Vice City in the 80s doesn't mean, that I would like to hear "Self control", "Billie Jean" and so on.

It’s hard to believe that RDR2 started development early on the PS4’s life yet looked like a late-gen game. I think GTA 6 could also be like that if it turns out well. Heck, it appears that RDR2 wasn’t able to fully use everything it’s version of RAGE was capable of, and GTA 6 will presumably use an upgraded version. I have a lot of worries about GTA 6 but I’m confident that the graphics will be great. Just RDR2’s graphics quality applied to GTA would be incredible.

I hope with the announcement they give is something like a highly detailed screenshot of a random place, like a alleyway with lots of details but nothing that gives the location away. I want to see every pixel and it's placement analysed to death.

gta 6 should have a ton... i mean a TONNN of things to do. its their biggest game franchise. and rockstar  basically has done the infinite money glitch. gta 6 should hold up for the next 10 years.

I expect a lot from the swamps. They have so much potential. They should be creepy, dark and really dense. You'll never know who or what is lurking behind those trees or in those waters.

i admire dan houser so much and i've been searching alot about him recently. im planning on becoming an author/writer and dan houser has been my biggest inspiration for making stories and writing dialogue that feels so natural and organic

You would see it being analysed on every single level, from artistic to technical.
