The RDR2 Thank You page listed every single people who contributed to the game in some way, so including all the third party support studios and contactors, and that number was 3,167, so it's safe to say the number Rob Nelson was talking about is plausibly Rockstar numbers only.

 

Since 2018 Rockstar likely did expand their existing studios and and also established R* Dundee so they're now larger than ever. There can always be other projects in development but I honestly believe about 2000-2500 Rockstar employees are working on their next big project (probably VI) in some way.

Damn, GTA 6 must be a hell of a game then.

We have to understand that Rockstar likes those kinds of rumours, they already paid people to speak bad about the GTA games in the past, only to make them more famous, they're some sneaky bastards.

Considering how lazy Rockstar got with GTA vehicles I wouldn't be surprised if they copied it over to GTA6

Leaking some art a few days before a trailer is really different from leaking the development stage of a Rockstar game that won't be announced in a long time. He's probably just clout chasing after he somehow got his hands on that picture

In the run up to the release of V there was a very vocal contingent complaining how awful IV was. In the run up to VI, there's a very vocal contingent complaining about how awful V is.

 

It doesn't matter what they do or how many copies they sell, I can guarantee there will be people complaining about VI.

Despite how good GTA VI is when it releases people will find ways to bash it for glitches, comparisons to IV & V, etc, etc, etc.

 

I bet if we get a Saints Row Online or a Watch Dogs Online it would turn Rockstar heads for a split second, but if those services took off they would most likely announce GTA VI sooner like they always cared.

something is not normal at rockstar and there are internal problems. GTA 6 could very well suffer greatly from this. No more Dan houser and many other key people are already gone from rockstar.

It's highly likely that GTA VI will be the last ever Grand Theft Auto game.
