For anyone believed the twitter fake account called newsleaksgtas about Announcing Gta 6 on December 16th , This is trash account and he is a small kid want to gain new followers and get some attention and if you called him fake in comments he will block you & I am pretty sure he check this forum everyday so listen kid : 

 

 

 

Gta VI has no solid release date , only internal deadlines , department to department  , yet even those hardly stick , Gta 6 In development hell , according to the latest leaks , the project had to be restarted after dan houser left in 2020 so this means if they will announce Gta 6 They will not announce it before 2024 and release it on 2025-2026 with The PS6 also there are rumors saying Gta 4 will release on 2023 and as you see no Take two started to take down Gta 4 mods  Like they did with Gta 3 mods before announcing Gta trilogy

I've been playing GTA V on PC and loving it. With keyboard & mouse at 60+ FPS it's a whole different experience. I'm not even playing at 4k though I tried that out on my TV, at 4k it looks gorgeous.

 

I think that GTA IV, V (On PC) and Trilogy can keep me occupied until GTA VI. Not to mention I haven't played Bully or Max Payne either, so I'm in for a treat, I don't usually have much time IRL nowadays so I got more than enough games to play before VI. But I still wish they just announced it... You know, give us something to look forward to so this thread doesn't go in circles for once and actually have something to analyse and have fun with.

Best case scenario: GTA VI will be announced next year and will be released in 2023.

 

Probable scenario: 2023 announcement with a 2025 release date.

 

Worst case scenario: GTA VI is the new Half-Life 3.

 

Horror scenario: You don't wanna know.

Why a 2022 announcement is so unlikely? 
GTA V E&E will be out of the way,

GTA Trilogy already released.

There is no word of a RDR2 E&E or upgrade, and I think it's very unlikely that an announcement happens next year.

There is no other remaster project happening right now to be announced next year (It's not impossible though, just very, very, very hard, even with rdr1 remaster rumor)

2022 will be 4 years after RDR2 launch and 6 years after it's announcement.

I can very much see:

March 2022: GTA V E&E

October/November 2022: GTA VI announcement.

It would no make sense to announce RDR2 E&E before releasing Trilogy and GTAV E&E. I bet RDR2 is coming (maybe packed with RDR) later next year. GTA VI announcement in October 2022? I doubt it. I think it is 2023.

RDR2 to the next generation would already be announced because Rockstar literally released RDO standalone 1 year ago also available for PS5 and Xbox Series X. Wouldn't you think that if RDR2 E&E existed, it would be announced by then? This has more weight when you see GTA V E&E won't even launch on PC, because it's the exact same thing graphically speaking. RDR2 for the next gen would only be a patch, most likely, and, as I said, it would have already been announced and released last year. It would only be a waste of resources in the eyes of Rockstar, even more when you consider the failure of RDO (that they have the blame).

 

I wouldn't expect anything but an announcement of GTA VI next year after GTA E&E.

There is something I’ve been thinking about, is rockstar just going to focus on a new Game after GTAVI is released? or they just going to get back to red dead after it? It will be be something fresh if rockstar going to make new ip but time will tell.

E&E will be released but that doesn't really mean it will be "out of the way" in less than a year. I don't think they're completely re-releasing the game again just for a quick cash grab before VI comes out. I think they want GTA V E&E to last a while.

 

The way I see it, E&E Online will get at least two years worth of updates before VI is announced. Maybe more depending on how well it does. I think they want a few more years of shark cards as much as they want game sales, if not more.

Rockstar was scared by Driver 2 being very close to GTA 3 we need another company to scare them again with a good competitor unfortunately there aren’t any. If some company made an open world crime game set in Miami that’s actually good and doesn’t flop that actually comes out soon  Rockstar would be sh*tting their pants right now.

Yeah, it's hard to imagine them going another two or more years without announcing VI but it's also hard to imagine them re-releasing V and not milking it for another 4 or more years.
