Guys, Guys, cmon let's dig something out from the Definitive Edition, this thread is too damn quiet ...

Here's a little incentive below :kekw: :kekw:

We already found out what was supposed to be found. Now people are starting to allucinate with things no one can fully can understand.

I'm actually impressed someone found something so similar, still a reach tho hahaha

Look mom I'm on TV!

edit: On a more serious note, the house is very similar, but I still think it's not the one. What we have to found is the exact same house, because GSG would not have changed the design of a stock photo/house just to put on a tiny frame in a place on GTA SA DE

There needs to be more than meets the eye, we just haven't found it yet.

Next step:

Spoiler

Analyze every pixel, mini pixel and everything of the map in San Andreas

Time for completion: 2 Years

GTA VI Release Date: 2025 - 2026

:kekw: :kekw: :kekw:

I think this is one of those mysteries where we just may never know until the time comes. Unless we inspect every house in Florida but by then the game would be out.

Mapping Trilogy House thread when :kekw:

I don't know how the law in the US works, but are you even legally allowed to commercially photograph someones private property without their consent? That would explain why you can only find similar properties but not the actual house from the photograph.

1 and 3 - Correct arrangement of trees.
4 - the sky and behind the house is empty, there are no other buildings.
2 - The houses are almost one-to-one in shape, with only minor changes from Rockstar. I'm 200 percent sure Rockstar teases us with GTA 6 and the city of Miami in it.

And it's also clear that Rockstar added something of their own, like 2 palm trees in the center and flower beds.

Whoa, this is an impressive find. That might very well be it, there are a lot of common elements between them, and it's changed enough that it's not just a copy pasta of the real life counterpart, which R* has done before in GTA V. (See GrandTheftData and feast your eyes). Definitely sounds like the kind of thing an environment artist would make when researching IRL environment and using it as base for an in-game building.

There's also a few examples in our own GTA V Mapping topic:

This is kind of becoming more than interesting tbh. :p

The coolest thing about this is, if it's real, it means we're going to be getting some Vice City suburbia that was non-existent in the 3D-era outside of the ghettos. I wonder if any neighbourhood names will return, i.e. Vinewood. Probably Starfish Island and Ocean Beach, though they'll both look very different like Grove Street between eras.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I think the skybox could be kind of a giveaway too, that looks like current era RAGE's cloud solution, definitely not IRL. My thoughts before were that it was an IRL pic photoshopped onto a pic of RDR2 or something, but there are way too many changes from what seems to be the IRL house, seems more similar to something a game artist who is researching would do (as they wouldn't just copy and paste the IRL house into the game, probably can't even do that lol)

Volatollotalov

That's excellent sleuthing work, but I gotta say IMO it's not a close enough match.

Look at how closely Rockstar modelled houses in GTA5, not just in the urban areas but in Sandy Shores too, the uncanny similarity to IRL Desert Shores / Salton Sea.

So the mystery house is either (a) based on a real location that is likely to be a much closer match and has not been found yet, or (b) it's a fictional composite based on a very typical type of home that can be found in its thousands.

Considering that GTA V cut out San Fierro while focused specifically on Los Santos (and the surrounding area) I wonder how big will they make Vice City/Florida in GTA VI. Will they go for a RDR2 route where they add Vice City, Orlando, Tampa, and Tallahassee just like how RDR2 had everything from Texas to Montana to Louisiana or will they just focus on Vice City/Miami and its surroundings, suburbs, Key West, Everglades, and Lake Okeechobee.

Not all, many were just like that house, case in point the one I linked from the mapping topic, who have been for years doing an incredible job of mapping everything R* has used as inspiration for GTA V, and quite successfully I'd say. Do check this out too as I mentioned in my last post, you may like it. :p A map with ALL of the sleuthing work done for GTA V: https://grandtheftdata.com/landmarks/#

Can you give me some examples?

Another example from the map I linked previously, R* recreates things faithfully but they don't copy paste them, they do change stuff, exactly like that house texture...

I'm more convinced it's the previously found one, just with a changed front yard, window colours and roof. Even the vegetation behind the house seems to match. Window and door type and position too, and as mentioned R* definitely does do stuff like this as they have for V.

It's most certainly interesting. :sadkek:

Я думаю, это может быть совпадение, есть две пальмы спереди и гараж с той же стороны, но я не знаю

There is one inaccuracy, a different facade of the central part of the house and a different environment.

you are as long as you're taking the photograph from a public street / passing. there's no reasonable expectation of privacy in a front yard, for example

Also, how convenient would it be that this is inside an UFO bar, and the trilogy released not long after an UFO event in GTA Online? :p  *tinfoil hat*
