Just remember to NEVER PREORDER any game, even when GTA6 will be announced. Trailers and gameplay trailers are carefully crafted. Final product is always different.

This doesnt work lol. Many say this, then they get fed a 50 second trailer and they break.

Its weird...i never thought Id be this satisfied seeing R* burn after the whole trilogy controversy... The music industry aint to be f*cked with

Can GTA 6 look better than this?

Not real time of course but it's insane what you can do with UE5 nowadays

By the way, what you do mean "better"? I can already hardly see the difference between what you posted and reality...

That is "exactly" the reason I asked, "Can GTA 6 look better than that?":shillkek:

re: that UE5 tech demo

Gotta remember that's just a purely visual demo as others have mentioned, the moment you fill that world with AI, scripts, vehicles, etc etc etc the performance will implode. Think of tech demos like concept cars, they're not really going to look like that in the near future but they show us a glimpse of what will be achievable later down the line.

Kotaku reported in August that PC version might slip to 2022. It seems like something went wrong internally, so they rushed the PC version.

Those UE5 graphics are so beautiful, I couldn't ask for more. I would be more than happy if Rockstar really make GTA 6 look this good.

Lol looks like Kotaku wasn't lying...

Knowing Rockstar the pc version might return early 2022.

They were accurate except Rockstar Dundee thingy. I do not even believe an internal studio worked together with GSG. It is just not possible.

Maybe R* Dundee is working on RDR1 or GTAIV (or even E&E), you know, just to get them accustomed to RAGE for future mainline projects now that they're a part of Rockstar. GSG was definitely the lead of the trilogy remaster. Internal studios may have helped but that support was probably minimal.

I really hope so. It breaks my heart to see disastrous things from the game studio that I sincerely love.

Regardless of the fact that R* did publish the Trilogy, they weren't the lead developers. It's unfair to put the main R* studios in the same basket as GSG. I don't think GSG are doomed or that they're lazy or whatever, that's not how it works, but the quality of the DE really is not representative of other R* products incl. GTA VI.

Only 3 years ago we got a masterpiece, RDR2. Their next one will likely be one, too. But you can understand peoples fears, anxieties and frustrations. It's human nature to feel that way.

I agree, and it's an important point to make.

But I would also add that Rockstar is ultimately responsible for the quality control, it's their games and their brand after all. Also I understand that Rockstar Lincoln testers were involved in the QA chain.

So, the buck stops with them.

It's not a Rockstar developed game but most people won't care make that distinction, which is not unexpected and not exactly an unreasonable take. Take-Two seem to be happy to let Rockstar's rep get dragged through the mud these days and I imagine that no matter what they do with E&E it'll get a kicking on social media, it's just not something that's going to get people excited unless they do something wild and throw in a map expansion which is unlikely.

Also it gets kinda silly when you consider the idea that they could have four remasters between RDR2 and VI; DE Trilogy, E&E, IV and RDR1, there's rumours of MP3 too.

Take-Two are getting their more games from R* one way or another I guess.

That's what worries me.

If recent form is anything to go by, E&E will not go well. When I comes out I suspect that the only things that excite folk will be the flaws, bugs, unforced errors and missed opportunities. Nothing positive.

This nails it. Their name is attached to it. Them or not, they're seen as responsible in the eyes of the fans.

Grand Theft Auto is one of the most valuable intelectual property in the world.
Even a small company look after their brands.
Rockstar were not the developers, but they are totally responsible for it.
They can't say it is not our fault or We were not aware. Otherwise it was a giant dumb steb by a major company.
Yes, They are the one to blame. They are the owner of the ip. They are the ones who would profit this game. They didn't make it but they are the responsibles.

Take-Two own Rockstar, Take-Two own the IP, Take-Two profit from the game.

Rockstar enjoyed a long period of independence, which is was unique given they are wholly owned but that's waning now, ever since the success of GTA:O.

People pin a lot of the blame on EA, Ubisoft of Activision Blizzard when they release a messed up game and it's no different here. The individual developer is never completely blameless, a good example is say Anthem which BioWare bungled by constantly fiddling with what the game actually was for years before EA got fed up and told them to get a product out. But then it's EA who were greenlighting games based on what their "Ultimate Team" was going to be. I don't imagine Rockstar's head honchos were oblivious to the state of the DE trilogy so there should be criticism aimed their way but Take-Two run that ship now.

It's a bit like Blizzard, when they merged with Activision they enjoyed their old independence until Activision chopped it away bit by it and now Blizzard's a complete and utter mess cause it's ran by Activision who are only good for pumping out remasters of their classics and rehashing Call of Duty every year.

Yes, but about 3000 Rockstar employees turn up for work every weekday morning at the moment.

Day 50.842.

After disastrous launch of GTA Trilogy the hype for GTA VI hits an all time low.

Over and out.
