It's unique, London is an amazing city and if you play with permadeath on it's a thrilling experience like no other.

I dont usually like futuristic stuff but it feels right with Watch dogs. Maybe you should try it out.

The story was terrible I got no problem with multiple characters but it should have been like GTA V 3-4 protagonists not play as everyone. Character types didn’t matter either as soon as you got a hitman sh*t became real easy as those dudes can do everything. Also hate that they took out interiors the phone menu and other stuff that were good from WD1 and WD2.

I disagree with that a game about hacking works better in present day not the future.

I need to say - something like pre-cyberpunk like in first two games.

At first sight - world seems to be modern, but it have some advanced technologies (like robots or united network connection) that distinguish our world and the pre-cyberpunk world.

So if a road is blocked, for example, the NPC will "see" this at a suitable point, and will try to find an alternative route, instead of just driving up to the blockage and stopping.

 

The patent also mentions how this will improve NPC reactions around "high-speed chases."

 

Although I guess it doesn't take a genius to figure out that whatever GTA6 is going to be, it will include high-speed chases! :kekw:

Lets not forget they could add driverless cars or services similar to Uber and Lyft in game.

Yep, I guess they could. Presumably the same node system could work for planes and boats too.

 

I'm reminded a little of the conspiracy theory that Rockstar makes NPC drivers deliberately collide with players in GTA Online, during missions where crashes or low speed must be avoided. Well, it seems that this patent is exactly how they would go about actually doing this! 😆

People will most likely come back here after the trilogy remasters first week release. Next year will probably have a lot of people because of the anticipation that VI will be announced sometime then.

It's about multiplayer where you just have to cut on something compared to singleplayer, even on PS5/XSX.

The mixed reaction we're seeing with the trilogy is kinda like a preview of what will come whenever GTA VI is announced. Some people are gonna be happy and other people are gonna be disappointed and angry.

 

I hope when it's finally announced I'm not gonna be disappointed and angry :adminkek:

What would your reaction be if rockstar were to split from take two?? How would it effect rockstar?

Lol yea that was me. I was only like 13 then I thought RD2 was stupid. It took me 2 years until I first played it I thought it was that stupid. Played it, couldn’t get off it 😂

For me RDRII had a charm, that GTA V lacked. GTA VI really, really needs big gameplay additions because GTA kinda doesn't really feel exciting to play anymore.

I was just excited of getting something Rockstar related. That wait from 2013-2016 felt super long because Rockstar stopped doing yearly releases of games like they used to and people were already tired of GTAO. Unfortunately it seems like they are continuing to not release a title every year anymore. Those days are long gone.

Definitely. GTA 6 needs something to do once you’ve finished the story. Start a drug empire and stuff, buy mansions, run casinos, car meets etc. once you’ve finished gta 5 story what can you even do? I didn’t think rd2 was great after you’ve finished the story but it was definitely better GTA 5. 

And if rockstar was to add businesses for us to run after gta 6 story, I hope there’s not boring missions, stupid prices and you can hire people to do dirty work for you

Well hopefully more releases start or happen. I think gta trilogy is a head start. That speculation of Dan leaving because he doesn’t want Sam to rush games is believable to me. Let’s hope things start changing

I was rather talking about pure freeroam stuff, just look how much they were able to improve in RDRII compared to RDR (2010). I'm talking about things, that we've never had before, that weren't even possible.

I'd prefer a simple crime simulator like Grand Theft Auto IV, but with new and improved things - I really hope they add even more details to the vehicles, for example.

 

I don't need a drug empire, to be honest.
