I personally believe GTA is better off being set in the United States. Imagine waiting 10+ years for GTA VI only for it to be released on ancient hardware which will be ~20years old at the end of the game's lifetime (=release of GTA VII).

By the time of VI's release date the PS5 is going to be the "ancient hardware" so they probably are going to delay it until the PS6 is out.

GTA 6's 2025 release looks more and more likely by each passing day. PS5 is then 5 years old and apparently this generation is gonna be shorter, so GTA 6 launches just nicely before the PS6's 2026 release and that's a double dip, double profit for R* right there thru enhanced editions.

GTA VI will absolutely be on PS6 & PS7, regardless.

I don't know what it takes to make a game that big. I don't know how long it takes or anything, it's not in my area of interests.

Honestly, I never find myself enjoying the remaster as much as I enjoyed the original game. That's why I just couldn't care less. 

 

If that'd be their excuse "Yeah, 2025 but look we remastered those 3D era games!" ... they better hide.

I don't think you're seeing the bigger picture here. A GTA III remake with the today's RAGE technology might feel like a totally new game, just imagine Liberty City with a RDR2's level of detail.

One feature I really really hope is being introduced for the first time in a GTA game with GTA VI is the interaction menu as seen in RDR2 or even Bully. I cannot imagine playing a Rockstar game without this feature anymore after the amazing RDR2. Like literally it's a game changer for me and adds so much to the overall experience. To this day I'm amazed how I can keep little conversations going in RDR2 with strangers or the gang members and they feel extremely fluid and on subject. It is amazing and I hope they expand on that concept with GTA VI.

I swear even to this day, i'm still finding new dialogue through various npc conversations, it's pretty amazing.

I really hope so. Might have worked back then with V, but with RDR2 it nearly ruined my pre-release experience and excitement. After a while, when we never got info and it kept getting delayed, I just didn't care anymore.
