Don't you want to see a younger UL Paper contact doing sh*t in the 80s? Jon Gravelli not in a hospital bed? Running into a young Michael and Trevor as they are out doing robberies?

 

I would love to see that Cargo job where Michael met Trevor.

 

 

or how about Sammy Bottino? He apparently ran the east coast in the 80s and 90s. He was mentioned in IV in the LCPD criminal database. Maybe we play as him at the height of his power or an enemy of his. Granted he hasn't made an appearance yet but he exists in the HD universe. 

 

 

They've got all this lore that they've built with the HD universe ever since IV released. They should use that sh*t.

A few of the songs from the score aren’t even original curations, they’re previously released tangerine dream songs from his Mona de Vinci album. Import/export by far had the best score of the entire game. I actually really hate GTA V’s main theme and it’s original score.

Maybe i am a gta v simp but i REALLY dig the original soundtrack.

It's got it's own charm.

 

For me i can tell if a score is good or not depending on 2 things.

1. How enjoyable it is to listen too.

2. (The most important)The memories associated with that particular song, how it gets used in the story.

For instance this piece in Bury the hatchet is a the perfect song for that particular situation.

 

What's so awesome is the fact that this song is a leitmotiv meaning the same melody is getting used in other situations with a different tempo.

So everytime tou hear that melody you associate it with Michaels/Trevors past.

 

Gta online had some pretty awesome ones. In those it's up to you to create the memories and associate them with those pieces.

Also the Russian songs from Iv. Love them!! But not because they are necessarily good, I don't even understand the lyrics.

It's just in the Liberty city Rockstar created for us those songs bring back beautiful memories and a big smile on my face everytime i hear them.

 

I can't wait for Vis songs and ost. From what we already know its probably going to be my favourite! (Just close eyes and try to "listen" to these synthwave tracks.. its gonna be awesome)

Youre right, I  much prefer the OST than the radio music, but then again I like Tangerine Dream so it was interesting to see them do a huge collab for GTA V OST and do some weird specialised loops so the music changes depending on situation. I just wish they added more because some of it can sound a bit too repepetive especially when on GTA Online.

That's what they've always done though. The returning characters are only a small number compared to new ones. Look at Vice City and San Andreas. Out of all the brand new characters, post GTA III, there were only a handful of old ones returning. Claude, Ken, Salvatore, Phil, Dwaine & Jethro, Catalina, and maybe a few others? So it's nothing to worry about. It's not like they're going to have the entire cast be the same. It'd be 95% brand new characters.

If GTA VI is set in the past: Mafia ( Gravelli, Pegorino), Martin Madrazo, Solomon Richards, 

If GTA VI is set in modern day: Trevor, Lamar, what's left of The Lost MC, Gay Tony and Luis Lopez 

This is just some old major characters I think Rockstar can include in GTA VI.

or gta6 is set in a new UHD Universe and none of them will be in the game

If RDR2 is any indication, they got way better at making original scores. Really makes me excited for what they're gonna do for GTA VI... The score is gonna be an absolute banger.

They technically did that with GTA V. It just wasn't an original song and I think you could change the radio.
