If R* themselves don't have any predictions as to when they can start marketing GTA VI, then it won't really be in T2's predictions either btw. This happened in 2011 where from one quarter to the other they were suddenly expecting a ton of money to come in for the future that they didn't before. Why? Rockstar settled on a date to announce GTA V.

 

Talked about it in August, people predicted something big was probably coming soon - GTA V was announced in October.

I've actually been following both this thread(s) and Tom longer than any of you did. I think it's very relevant to the discussion and therefore important to post.

And since I've been following this thread, I knew I'd get some very salty replies

henderson hasnt made Rockstar leaks before so idk if hes credible. but im def not going to believe a guy that does clickbait vice city drawings of a concept. also did he ever even explain what the light beam from one of the buildings meant? he said it had to do with the game but never explained

It's just the light from the top of the tallest building in downtown Vice City. His whole drawing was literally just a fun little drawing to encapsulate what GTA VI will be. But people somehow took it is he was leaking the art or some sh*t. And then claimed he was bs because it was a fake concept lol

I've always said I trust Tom. I just don't know how he can go from Battlefield/CoD to Rockstar related 'leaks' as that's a pretty f*cking huge difference.

This is all very highly interpretive. Who's to say that (Presuming it were representing Sam & Dan) the whole message not to go alone was Sam asking Dan not to retire or leave Rockstar. Besides, yeah, Rockstar have hinted at future setting in their games before. But Miami in GTA III was 12 month before Vice City launched. And the Red Dead Redemption paining in GTA V could easily just be a reference to the first game and not about RDR2. There's literally no way of knowing unless someone from Rockstar says so. And they won't talk.

He make a good analysis of GTA franchise future tho. I think that it's pretty believable, considering R* focus on Online content.

 

EDIT: I don't say that his "leaks" is credible. I just saying that he can make some good analysis.

GTA e&e is obviously coming as gta 5 online has had so much success, so when gta 6 online comes people can still play gta 5 online if they feel like it. Which is why GTA Online will be a seperate game now.
 

still think gta 6 will be out by end of 2023
