Yeah, VI will also get released 4-6 years after Forza Horizon 5. It will probably even look better than Forza.

You just don't get it. Rockstar is miles ahead of everyone else when it comes to open world games. There aren't any games which are even close to the GTA or Red Dead series. While other developers are busy to dethrone GTA V for years, Rockstar is already working on GTA VI. There isn't any engine which is as fun as the RAGE engine. Even if a developer managed to create a better game than GTA in a "Zello-utopian-future", it won't sell as much as GTA. GTA is the bigger trademark and just the name alone sells millions of copies. You see it with Xbox and Playstation. Xbox always had the better hardware, but Playstation is just the bigger brand. Where I come from, most people don't even know what a Xbox is, they only talk about the Playstation. Even Cyberpunk 2077, the most hyped game since GTA, didn't come close to the sales figures of GTA. 

Look I get it this is a GTA forum we're all GTA fans and a bit biased when it comes to the GTA series but leave the fanboy at the door. Over the past several years a bunch of Rockstar veterans have left the company and not the lower level people either the higher people like Dan Houser and Leslie Benzies are gone. Everyday Rockstar continues to show that they care more and  more about online there's a possibility  that GTA VI could become an online focused microtransaction heavy pile of sh*t. It's also possible that it's a great game and the best of the series but we don't know yet.

Leslie Benzies left the company, so what did we get next? RDR2, the best game ever created.

It's harder than PC. If the next title releases on consoles first, and that includes PS4/X1, then someone may have to launch it on an out of date software update (the one that allowed jailbreaking) on PS4 to be able to check files and such. I believe games nowadays require a more up to date software update in order to launch them.

But it broke SA's record of sales, no game back then sold as fast as IV did in 2008. I think SA ended up selling more simply because of the fact that it was released in way more platforms, that, and cause the PC port didn't suck as much as IV's.

I thought the record of sales "doesn't mean anything" according to this forum, so why are we having an argument of who did better financially? GTA SA was the best a game at that time and a product in a class of its own. It was a milestone, because almost every open world game wanted to be like SA, just look at Saints Row 1 and 2. Go to YouTube, everyone still plays it and talks about it, even more than any GTA I believe (with the exception of V).

Saints Row 1 was in development before SA. They had to change the Saints colors from green to Purple after SA released.

Eh...Yes? Most of them, especially the Modern Warfare series. The latest Modern Warfare was just pure gun pr0n with all the attachments you could unlock. Speaking of that, I hope we would get a similar customization for our guns in GTA VI.

kinda lends more credence to that 2014 Jorge Consejo photo and why he might have been there that early

This is common in the industry to avoid leaks and such IIRC. Voice actors/mocap don't really know exactly what they're doing until they're very very well into production of the thing. They may have been able to guess it's for Red Dead at some point, but not told explicitly until much later. It's also why casting calls for media are usually very vague and also don't usually use real character names.

 

I think Roger Clark has mentioned this too in one of these panels?

The driving physics in E&E will be exactly the same. The only differences will be with the graphics.

But when you see an actor that you think is in gta vi, check if he is shaving frequently.

If he does then there is a chance that he is in a Rockstar game.

The Mocap gear doesn't support... Beards so it's common for these actors to be shaved clean.
