Replace 2021 with 2016 (before Rdr 2 announcement) and then add every other year excluding 2017 and 2018 because of rdr and that's me.

Don't forget the meh second trailer revealing the protagonist alonside many story sequences we don't understand sh*t about, the hyping third trailer that shows us the context and storyline conflicts, or maybe even split in 2-3 for the multiple playable characters, two gameplay trailers 2-3 months before release, one for the world and systems, the next for the gameplay and activities, or one for both and the second for online, the many journalist's previews, announces and details about the game (aka. "Thing you need to know about" "Everything you need to know about" "We played it!" "What we know about it so far" etc, etc), the release trailer, alongside with many videos of people playing it one day before release (Like GTA Series Videos).

Just so y'all know. Forza Horizon 5 had many "credible" leaks, everything pointing towards a map set in Japan and everyone daydreaming about it (just like GTA6 with Vice City).

 

It ended up in Mexico lmao. 

 

My point is, GTA6 also has many credible leaks that it will be in Vice City. Imagine if it ends up in another city too lmao.  (Just like GTA5 with Vice City too).

The American south is way overdue, which I why I think it will have vice city but not exclusively as its single map. I’d expect some sort of amalgamation of places like Memphis, Atlanta, savanna, New Orleans, and maybe Charlotte, similar to what the did with manhunt 2’s cottonmouth. I’d hope so Atleast. I’m very tired of the sunny beach setting but I could give a pass for vice city, all things considered. But if they pull some bull sh*t like san fierro or las Ventura, imma be f*ckin pissed.

Wasn't there a rumor that Mexico City was a potential area in GTA 6.

 

Alongside Vice City and other Americas areas, this would be a biblical map and explain the long ass time...

Damn, I just watched the gameplay trailer of Forza Horizon 5 and it looks beautiful. It will release this year. Can you imagine what GTA VI will look like in 2026/27 for the PS5/6? It will blow your mind. Maybe that's why R* didn't release it yet, because our brains aren't ready to process the divine awesomeness we will eventually witness  .

I beg you not to get your hopes up. People thought V was gonna be photorealistic like some of the gta Iv mods that were posted at the time but we didn’t get anything remotely close

yeah it's the perfect opportunity. like they could add LV and SF to E&E or online. they did a bit of the heartland, so i hope dixie gets parodied in some way too.

Serious question for those who keep trashing GTA V: What are you gonna do, when GTA VI just follows the gameplay mechanics of GTA V? Will you finally leave this forum for good or search for a new game? What's the point of discussing and waiting for a game, when you already know you won't like it?

 

Edit: It is obvious, they will focus on the multiplayer, so why bother for GTA VI?

if after 10+ years of gta v they don’t innovate their game mechanics and don’t give us something on par AT LEAST with RDR2, I’m officially through with the franchise. I was born in 1997, at the very beginning of the franchise, and the first one I ever played was 3. I’m not getting any younger, and I’ll be damned if I sit around and wait for a franchise as old as I am to make another good game.

E&E is coming this fall, you really think they’re ready to stop their gravy train??? No way are we seeing a gta 6 announcement alongside E&E. 2023 announcement at the earliest. I feel like that’s realistic at this point

The much-repeated claim that announcing GTA VI around the E&E release would stop a single person from buying it is baseless and naïve.  Anyone who was planning to buy E&E would do so anyways, and I'd actually expect sales to increase as people integrate into the next gen GTA Online ecosystem.  We'll see what happens in a few months.
