Most of last gen console generation games feel like X360/PS3 games with better graphics... It was really bad gen apart from few exceptions like RDRII of course.

depends on how long GTA V E&E and standalone GTA Online last. 2023/2024 sounds plausible. 2025 or 2026 is the era of PS6 and the next Xbox.

Rockstars standards today is measured by RDR2 which toke them 7 years to complete, RDR2 lacks many things a GTA game would..obliviously, from vehicles, architecture, technology and so on, which means it's going to take them longer to finish VI, if VI began development in 2014 then by 2021 it hits the seventh year mark, add the extra work they have to put in VI which lets say for example at least two to three more years than RDR2, puts us between 2023-2024 but then we don't know how many devs were working on VI back in 2014 vs now or how big of content VI is going to have, all we can do is guess, i guess.

I'm hoping that Rockstar pulls a fast one on us and foregoes the delay[s] this time. Like what if they do like Bethesda and announce it 6 months or so before the release. I mean I really think this could be a possibility. Less crunch, more relaxed development, you see how they are now. Dead silent. Maybe they'll actually stay that way until they know for sure that it's ready. God, that would be the best day of my life.

 

Yall know how some say Rockstar's different now? Well if this happens, then yeah.

I said announce 2023 and late 2024 or october of 2025 release and everybody disliked, bruhed that, Nice to see folks coming to their senses 

 

And that is for console players, PC release Will be 2026/27 

Rip PC players, the only thing that make me happy Will be GTA III remastered and GTA 6 delayed i Will get it delayed anyway on pc

I Highly agree with you , Gta 6 is not coming before 2025 , They will continue supporting GtaOnline with More and more updates , Gta 6 will release exclusively for PS6

It'll be surreal to be in a completely different stage of my life (early 30s instead of early 20s) when the next gta will be released.

So much will have changed in these 10 years once the game will be released...
