Most likely it will be an island, but they could also have procedurally generated land that would be like the oceans. That way, they could expand the map and add new cities that you can drive to.

Would that mean small dlcs for single-player? (cars, guns, clothes); will gta online 2 have a small amount of content at launch?

To be fair, yes, that is one of the many ways to interpret his claim. But the fact that they prioritized GTA Online over the Single Player DLCs is a big hint for the future of GTA: Less single player content and more multiplayer content in a "Game-as-service" way, at least that is the way I see it.

I don't remember exactly what he said, but I think it was something in the lines of: the production of every R* game (not just GTA VI) is way too long, so they are considering different strategies like releasing the base game and then expand it and add more content over time. Hard to say if this is actually going to happen.

honestly I feel like when Rockstar says it wont be huge in scope its still going to be pretty f*cking huge in scope

i wonder what early development actually means for Rockstar, must be like 10 steps ahead of other companies. and even though they are unpredictable, it's probably gonna be huge for diversity.

i don’t disagree that she’d be a good fit for manhunt if they had a rendition that focused more exclusively on street gangs, like a mix of manhunt 1 and the warriors, judt without the silly costumes, but I feel like if they made another gta in the vein of IV, I think she’d work, especially if she had a sort of contrasting protagonist to play off of. Not saying they couldn’t take liberties in their inspiration from the character and make her a bit more personable tho.

I really, really hope, that Rockstar will show something new next week. This year's E3 was lame as f*ck so far (only M$ can save it today). Even Avatar seems to be some stupid action game where this open world is just a filler...

I admit man, the unpinned posts are practically a joke now

But most of the time, 2 week events lead to something.

Nor necessarily what we want. But something is coming.

What we will probably get: new e&e trailer(second most probable) or gta v summer dlc trailer/announcement date or (most probable) rdr dlc trailer/release.
