Ubisoft showed Avatar today which is coming for next-gen only consoles and PC but unsurprisingly it looks as generic as possible...

Michael Mando could be possible even though he's famous he hasn't really gotten the big roles that demand big money I'm sure he'd love to be in a Video game. Giancarlo Esposito would be unlikely he'd be expensive but maybe R* would like to work with him too.

As for Snoop, I think she's too one-sided to be a proper protagonist. She'd be more suitable for a 3d era GTA. 

She’s got way more dimensions than Franklin, so that’s good enough for me. Felicia was gangster as f*ck. In real life and on the screen. We need a woman like that being our protagonist. snoop is actually believable because you see women like her all the time in the streets. It wouldn’t feel like some out of place, shoehorned in female protagonist just for the sake of having one.

I think you answered it right there. It signifies:

 

A) that the game will be released within two years and the media campaign will begin (albeit as intermittent as you and I know it will be...). Two years at most, as you said - it signifies that the wait is coming to an end.

B) A logo itself gives something to discuss that is real and tangible. I take my hat off to you all but I'm shocked how this topic is still going as there is nothing to discuss really that hasn't been discussed. A logo would ignite the touch paper. I look back to SA and V's logo reveals and think about the discussion it created.

 

Deference or difference? The difference is is by November it will be ten years since V was announced and around 8 since its release. Its too long. I already know the game exists and should, hopefully, be released by Oct 2023. That's still a helluva long way away. I'd just like the hype to begin properly to end the tumbleweed in here. I'm surprised how the current situation is enough for you! I'd understand if it was three years after V, even 5 years - but 8 years is too much to find the very vague leaks we've had to be enough, in my opinion.

I'm expecting this but LGBTQ and minority races version across all of Take Two's studios. Also maybe they'll talk about that new program they had about getting interns from like The Bronx or something.

Everyone believed Jason Schreier when he said that GTA VI was in early development stages but no one ever recalls that he also said that the game won't be really huge in scope. I still believe in a 2023 release, especially if GTA V E&E fails to sell as much as Rockstar expects.
