e and e aint setting up online for gta 6 it will live alongside it when it comes out. 

gta 6 online i am certain will have character transfer from five to six your character tied to your pc ps x box account so it not hard. 

gta 6 is an expansion not  a replacement for online both will get dlc at same time. 

like jason s said smaller tittle updated over time aka  gta v sized game and story length maybe a bit longer with online expansions. 

which is why i am only expecting south florida maybe mountain areas of another state but we will see.

Yep, there are more than a couple of more recent 4chan archival websites around, though I'm not sure about which ones have the /v/ board? Either way, I suppose you can find them out there!

If you can find 806940320 from 2019 or 499475980 which is from March 2020, then I'd say it seals it lol

Just 2 examples of real posts, that did happen. Even though they were fake.

What this means is that the screenshots provide a post number that is, basically, impossible for the date it was allegedly posted in.
• Still, let's maybe really stretch our imagination and assume that perhaps something also went wrong with the archive here and that the threads were only added within some weeks of delay, hence why the dates don't match - and under that incredibly shaky assumption, the only thing that would really refute this would be if, somehow, you would be able to find a post with the exact same ID as another one in the screenshots but featuring entirely different content instead. This took me quite a little bit of a while to track down since the archive doesn't have a search function for individual post numbers, but after going through some different threads with IDs in the same ballpark, I finally found it: the screenshots have post #338856802 of the /v/ board being someone asking about John Marson in Red Dead Redemption 2 to this alleged leaker, but in reality, the actual post #338856802 of /v/ was just someone complaining about healing roles in Overwatch. This right here, I believe, ultimately proves with very little doubt that the screenshots were fabricated: as far as I know, when it comes to Futaba Channel-like imageboards, there shouldn't be any reason as to why two posts on the same board would have the same number, and therefore, when you take everything else into account, it becomes transparently obvious that this is just an edited page done either with inspect element or through photoshop or whatnot.

 

So, in conclusion, I should probably reevaluate my life choice of dedicating so much time to debunking such bullsh*t, but also, if this posts helps at least one person to not to be baited by false information then I feel like it might have been worth it. Remember to stay skeptical, fellas!

I agree but it's every gta 6 leak nothing new . i would want a darker story too like gta 4 if not more and definitely more realistic and grounded game . Also i hope that gta is more like rdr2 in the manner of NPCs and other quality of life things in rdr2 were a major step up from gta 5

Yeah, seconding this, I'd kill for a GTA game that's on par with RDR 2 in terms of the quality of writing and gameplay. The whole Project America thing sounds like a really interesting setting, but who knows what Rockstar will / would do with it.

i personally think 80s and 90s would be more fun for drug smuggling cuz that was the peak and 2 protagonist Male and female would be perfect for that .

 A more serious story (probably like gtaIV)

Actually it was my second thought that this one is easy to fake. It's harder to fake a map then this sh*t.

even if it's fake, it's plausible that full production started in 2016 and they'll announce it this year (maybe scraped because of covid so 2022). Because RDR is and was a programming mess unlike gta. Also they have the new Rage Engine so gta6 will likely need less time than rdr2.

I honestly can't blame you, my first time reading through those screenshots and seeing they were all accurate and dated back to 2016 also made me drop my jaw and go "Holy sh*t, could it be?!" - but then I started digging a little deeper here and there and yeah, eventually, it just all kind of fell apart when it became obvious no such post had actually been made and, as pointed out in this thread, its sole origin is a recently created Medium account whose only other article is a copy-pasted article.

 

If the person who faked the screenshots is reading this thread by any chance then you know what, props to you indeed, this is well above and beyond the usual low-effort alleged leak!

we have to many questions and no solid answers, thats whats mostly disturbing (at least for me), its just been too long since the last release of a gta game

imo its possible we hear sth official about gta 6 in 2021, but maybe we suffer in silence until 2023/24... its hard to tell honestly, we have solid presumptions, but we have no insight of how things are really going on
