T2 pushing for more online content is a classic business move, it's a no brainer (Based on what I heard, despite such argument, the ball would still be on the Housers court). Dan have definitely experienced more arguments than just dealing with T2. Him and Sam against Leslie is one hell of an argument. That and whatever other arguments he had.

 

I don't know why he left, but him leaving because of some argument with T2 isn't convincing enough. Especially since he took an extended break, he probably reflected on all his past work and saw the industry taking a toll on him. Plus, even after leaving, Sam is still there. It's not like T2 won or something.

I still stand by my opinion that he retired to spend more time with his wife and kids. I won't link her Instagram account, but they seem happy. Dan even did a bit of volunteer work. I think he's happy being a family man, now. While his brother is still running the company.

But it's far more interesting and gossipy to say he left because Take-Two are bad  /s

Unrelated to today's leak but the water in Horizon Forbidden West looks so good, and so does the hair and foliage. After 3 years it looks like RDR2 is surpassed in terms of graphics by another game!

Had a chat with Zack, a friend and an editor at Kotaku, and he pointed out that the article ID is way past the latest article he published on the site.

 

An article from a few years ago was removed, yet the ID surpasses even the latest article? This is starting to feel fishy.

Nothing from an article to an opinion piece is yet to surpass the ID on that link.

 

Plus, I googled a bit to see if there was anything the search bots caught, but with no avail. It's starting to feel fishy, especially with the way the article is worded. "Credible info about GTA6 may have been revealed".

The 4chan screenshots look legit. Although anything can be faked. But they do look genuine.

I don't know what the deal with it is, but yeah... suspicious. I just don't get why they'd lie about a Kotaku article. Unless there's been a misunderstanding? Although, the title of the kotaku article does feel familiar. You know on Chrome on the mobile app, when you open a new tab and it has a bunch of personalized articles? There have been some GTA6 related articles recently. I always ignore them, because they always come from the gta6 or leak subreddit. And they're usually always BS. But I don't know if it was Kotaku or not.

Just got more confirmation from Zack, they don't delete articles very often. And even if they do, they would pull it out and keep it stored in the backend like this article. So yeah, really fishy.

Hey guys! I've been gone for about a year and after a hiatus as long as that I'm willing to bet there's been a plethora of insightful and credible info on GTA 6 that i've been missing out on!!!!

My only issue with the info presented there is that if I remember correctly it came from Reddit first, not 4chan - meaning, RDR2 story details and such. Could it have been edited/regurgitated by someone else? I might have missed something at the time though so don't quote me on it.

 

The reddit post Orthur linked also makes this even more suspicious anyway lol. Looks like they may have just gotten existing info from old (legit) Reddit leaks and edited it into 4chan posts? Or just completely fabricated it of course, I don't remember anything with that much detail. There were details, but it was about epilogue etc.

AFAIK nobody among us has seen the original Reddit post/comment either. Someone else said that info late in a reddit comment -

Then there's a high chance this is just an inspect element job by the article writer. If there was a real 4chan post like that I believe the community would've picked up on it when Rockstar revealed the protagonist's name was Arthur and even more so after it's release.

To be the fair, one of the best ways to debunk these things is also to search these forums as well. If "leaks" like that ever come out, someone always posts them.

Okay, I found it. I knew I'd gone digging for it last year. Just took a while to find it. 

The furthest back I could find any mention of that leak was around May 2017. At which point it was "Several months ago"

If we can't find one person that remembers the original leak then sadly it was probably fake..

 

FML i was watching some Havana videos, full of excitement. Finally i thought, a legit leak!
