If the 4chan leak is Real is interesring that he said "the woman protagonist remind me of leslie jones" cuz the woman on the arcade machine in Gta Online looks exactly like her with similar haircut but white skin tone

and again the VC P.I slot machine in gtaO is just a reference to the angel and the knight tv series (parody of Miami Vice TV Series) from VCS

I know for certain these screenshots are not faked.

I remember reading his comments back in 2016 and even though I didn't think much about it ever since I can now remember all of it when reading through it again.

Nice memory. I didn't care much for RDR, back then. I was certainly a fan. But I've always 'loved' GTA more, so never bothered to follow leaks.

Just read the screenshots again and apparently lots of Ambitious content has been cut from RDR2 because Take Two wanted Online to be as good as GTAO and they had to work on Online.

 

Likewise, lots of people fighted to not make GTA VI focused on Online content.

 

Looks like we dodged a bullet...

One thing I found interesting from that article how it said that lots of people were "fighting" so online isn't the central focus in VI. I wonder if that changed at all because between 2016 and now Rockstar lost a lot of staff. Hell, Dan Houser was almost certainly one of those people who wanted the focus more on singleplayer, and he is not in charge anymore.

What is troublesome with these is the fact that we can't disquish the Anon users in 4chan.

 

Is it 100 percent sure that the user that posted the rdr 2 is the same Anon as the one that posted the Vi info?

So there is a struggle in GTA VI development, like many senior staffs want the game to not focused on Online content.

 

But as with what @0909090 said, these people probably lost their battle. Houser left, and the very first thing announced after that is GTA V E&E which 60% of the trailer composed of online footage, and now they want to celebrate GTA III's 20th anniversary by giving exclusives to Online players rather than real fans.

 

That could be why GTA VI development is longer than ever. Maybe R* had planned it since 2012 after all. But by 2016, they have conflict with T2, resulting them to restart the project. In 2020, Dan Houser had enough and left.

I believe it's the same poster. There is a one post in which he says that New Bordeaux in RDR2 is now "Saint Denis" and that GTA 6 is present day and in Vice City.

It's highly unlikely the other posts are fake as they line up with what was said in 2018 Project Americas leak and the game has both male and female protagonist.

The Newswire post said that some of the 3 Anniversary content will be for Online.

Anyway let's never forget its from 2016, things could change/be outdated. 

Not a lot though, that would mean a total rewrite and its already late.

 

Anyway i wonder how the Cuba-Florida thing will work. 

Cuba is close to Florida and from my basic knowledge on drugs they don't produce or even move drugs from Cuba. 

 

Maybe the Columbia part is mission only like guarma? The original project Americas leak said so...

 

Also don't forget the project Americas leak video came out in 18... So this old 16 leak could indeed be outdated.

interesting indeed, but i still take it with a grain of salt

i guess we will only know if its true when we have actual information from R*

also keep in mind that even if its true, things can be changed during development (maybe they plan to have florida and cuba, but in the end its only florida / or they move the focus to online and change the singleplayer in some ways etc)

 

the only stuff i want to know about GTA 6 is: when is the announcement/release, and where/when is it set (and please no gta online 2.0)
