seventhreeo
i got it on pc release because the story seemed like a must play, by then i already knew the ending but did not know of everything in between, and very much enjoyed it, admittedly a replay isn't as easy as it is for me with gta games but the first experience was enjoyable, the only gta game i can compare it with (in terms of story) is gta the lost and damned, i'd seen many parallels between the two and rdr2 really did seem like rockstar expanding on the themes of brotherhood and betrayal from tlad i also had two months of fun with rdo but it probably isn't as fun to go into now that the hype is not there, it was more fun to start along with everyone else joining new to it Taterman
Krommer
It is on sale sometimes. It is very worth getting, even as an older game. They never add on stuff to single player, though =/ I'm not sure if you still can, but you could buy the Online Only version for $4.95; that would give you a good idea if you might also like single player, which you then could buy at a reduced price. I only play it on Xbox One, though (the online version.) PC players are always lamenting how on the PC online version people use cheats/blow them up/drop prison cages on them, etc. Players can't do that on Xbox One or PS4. 6 hours ago, seventhreeo said: i also had two months of fun with rdo but it probably isn't as fun to go into now that the hype is not there, it was more fun to start along with everyone else joining new to it Still fun, at least on the Xbox one/PS4 (avoiding people that cheat/hack on the PC version.) I've been in Online since the beta of it, with them having added a LOT to it. People lament how new content/jobs have not been added to it lately, though. Also, after the nerf to how much gold you get from dailies/keeping your daily streak up many players don't bother now; you only get 33 percent less gold from dailies overall, but people liked it more when you could just keep doing any dailies at .5 gold each by keeping your streak up. Online Additions, over time. (3 added initial "roles.) -Trader role -Bounty role -Collector role -Moonshiner role (sometime later) -Naturalist role (sometime after that.) -"Prestigious" bounty hunter addition, with 10 more levels/infamous bounties to do/bounty hunter wagon liveries. No "official" word on whether the other roles get 10 more levels, but Trader/Moonshiner different wagon liveries in the game files make people think they will. I got so distracted by the fun in online, for the last few years, that I was only 33 percent done with Single Player, so I've started playing single again now Edited April 17, 2021 by Krommer Taterman
Cyper
In my opinion it is the game of the decade. It's simply must-play. I would not consider the game old - it is far more visually and technically impressive than most games today. For the best experience buy it to xbox one x or PC. The Tracker
The game came out 2.5 years ago, almost nothing, it's relatively a new game, you should stop acting like it's so old.
